(12/6/2016) Stopped in to sample the wares. They were very friendly (of course, they were trying to sell me something). English was rough. I believe they said that if I bought a ham, it could be shipped to the US. I was skeptical, currently, only a few vendors are allowed to ship jamon from Spain into the US. Unclear to me if they were selling an in-house brand or other brand names, but they did have a variety of grades, ages, some black hoof, some not. First couple of hams I asked about were around the $400 mark. After some more experience in-country, that's a mediocre ham. The Cinco Jotas were running around $700. Guys were friendly, if a little frustrated with me. I meant to buy a baguette with some jamon (they sold them individually in a little deli case), but there was one, lone, sad looking one left, so I didn't. I did get a sample, though, it was a slice of pig heaven. read more
