We had the prawn tacos first that came with two per order ~ we ate those first SUPER yummy & big enough I could make a second o one with the extra tortilla shell One order of fish tacos (3 per order) Almost every bite has fish bones(s) I decided to snap a pic of all the bones from my second to last normal sized bite Needless to say the last set of tacos weren't finished (fish ones) Clam chowder was pretty good with clams in every bite! I am really late writing this review, and the owner/operator of this "Hidden Treasure" deserve our praising reviews to let everyone know about wonderful surprise awaits you upon arrival! First, the people made us feel like more than just customers, we felt like welcome guests to their beautifully created Oasis. We were "Ah"-Inspired and everywhere we looked what another beautiful accent to the decor and garden. It is a great place for guests of all ages, even children will enjoy finding those special things hidden in books and crannies throughout the shop and garden. They had a good menu of savory and sweet items for everyone's tastes, cold brew coffee, espresso, juice and more. They offered both indoor and a mix of outdoor seating with covered outdoor seating to protect guest from sun rays or rain drops. They offer the convenience of free wi-if which is of course in HIGH demand on the coast for those who need to send or respond to business correspondence. Which is exactly how we found this jewel. The interior looks like an old general store or a hundred year old house. We didn't expect that so much of the charming decor was for sale! Unique old-mixed-with-new gifts that I would have purchased for my home, or for any friend or family member. I can't think of any place in Tillamook that is better than THIS Hidden Treasure when you are looking for a light lunch, want to satisfy a sweet tooth, or read a book in one of the many seating areas tucked in and around this Garden if Eden. There are a couple of water features that enhance the experience here. The trickle of water drowns out the rest of the world and lets your mind wander free of any stress you may have been carrying around when you got here. I wish this shop, and the owners were part of my neighborhood. I would have my morning coffee here every weekend! An adorable and very well organized nursery. There are multiple greenhouses featuring annuals, perennials, vegetables and herbs, evergreen trees shrubs and bushes and many other beautiful plants. The owner was on site when I was there and I was able to speak with her about the various plants and their care requirements. They have a little cafe too which is pretty neat. The prices are right in line with other nurseries if not more affordable on some things. Support local business! You can tell this is a labor of love for these ladies! read more

What an adorable find. Besides the fresh and tasty food, the gift shop and nursery are a refreshing find. We had a sunny and mild autumn day and sat under a trellis, and it was lovely. The staff is friendly and provide great service. Will come again when we are in the area. read more

I am a long time Tillamook resident and this is probably my new favorite place in town. The cafe is so beautiful and inviting. This would be the perfect place for a quick lunch, to have a lunch meeting, to bring the family to eat or even to study. The food is so fresh tasting and wholesome, not loaded with fillers or low quality ingredients. I will definitely be bring the family back for lunch and maybe even start coming here to study. This year they even had an easter egg hunt for the kids and an easter bunny too. read more

What a gem! The setting, the food and the service are beyond comparison. You feel like you're eating your lunch in your own backyard gazebo surrounded by gorgeous plants. THE RESTAURANT AREA IS CLOSED Sunday and Monday, and closes weekdays at 3 PM! The Nursery is open later, but the restaurant is not. We arrived on a weekday right after 3 pm. The griddle was off, but Bless Them! they were willing to serve us cold sandwiches rather than grilled. We had salads and sandwiches and they were FABULOUS! I don't like raw onions, but the sandwich I chose had pickled onions. The young man who served us told me they were great and he was right! I'm in love with that sandwich, if only I could remember the name of it! I HIGHLY recommend this little family owned gem of a restaurant, nursery and gift store! It was so much fun to roam the gifts and unique items while waiting for our food. Everyone was fat and happy when we left. Then a couple of weeks later we returned with out of town guests. Sadly we learned that the restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays. The info here on Yelp seems to be hard for them to correct, is what they told us. A surprising treat! Outside it looks like your average garden nursery, but inside it's warm and charming. The food is creative and flavorful, with GF options all over. The barista carries every possible milk--even hemp and coconut, and the chai is great. The French dip was average, but the tuna and club were delicious, and the potato salad gets a blue ribbon for sure--so tasty! (Why do most places have such terrible potato salad?) The baked goods looked and tasted delicious too. Try the "hummingbird cake" if you can eat gluten... super moist and full of pecans and fruit. The nursery was just as impressive with extremely healthy and well priced plants of every variety. I bought two flats of herbs and perennial flowers. Ask for Penny if you need advice. She's busy running the whole shebang but she knows a lot about the plants she pots and sells. read more

Well worth the extra drive outside of Tillamook. The atmosphere is so quaint and cozy, the staff is so friendly and warm, and the food is so filling. The cinnamon roll in particular was absolutely incredible. A must try experience. read more

This garden center deserves a review! It's full of beautiful plants displayed like you are in a lush private garden. Feel free to roam around and sit a spell at one of the tables set around the landscape. They serve fine cafe menu items in the garden or indoors. Don't miss the food and coffees. read more

Pricing high with a limited menu. Netarts Bay Oysters are always the best to be had,so we were satisfied with the food. The first negative experience was a strong sense of bleach when we sat down at our table that was overwhelming. But the biggest disappointment was that the owner and 75% of his staff were either unmask or pulling their masks down and talking to people within 2 feet of them or wearing their mask hanging down around their chin. Even the women in the kitchen that were preparing our food we're fully unmasked. I'm pretty sure that none of this meets the state requirements for a dining establishment. Tillamook really needs more places to go but if you want to stay safe and healthy, unfortunately I can't recommend this new restaurant. read more

So, you're driving for what seems like forever in the wrong direction.Your questioning your spouse's navigational prowess. There's no way there's a restaurant way out here in the middle of nowhere! But wait! There it is, and what a gorgeous spot to enjoy and fabulous sandwich and salad! I don't normally get excited by sandwiches but these were awesome. First, the staff here are super friendly and attentive. The setting is the Garden of Eden - serene and relaxing. Lots of beautiful plants and cool stuff around for purchase at reasonable prices. And the food is home made excellence. We highly recommend stopping for a bite to eat or a coffee drink when traveling south down the coast from Tillamook! read more

We were drawn to Hidden Acres by the good reviews and uniqueness of their location. The setting was delightful with gift shop items and a garden theme. The menu was creative and the servers attentive and friendly. My husband and I wanted to split a sandwich because we knew we were going to get ice cream at the cheese factory. We chose the chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat bread instead of the croissant. For $2 more you can get a scoop of potato salad added to your sandwich. Everything was delicious and homemade. The one negative is they charged each of us the $2 for the half scoop of potato salad, so our $12 sandwich we were splitting cost $16, and the server asked me if I wanted a refill on my iced tea, and charged me for that too. So our bill for one sandwich, and two drinks cost us $25.30. Otherwise I would give them 5 stars. read more

We were disappointed. The reviews persuaded us that this was somewhere we absolutely had to visit. The ambience is inviting, nice to walk the gardens while waiting for our sandwiches. However the sandwiches were a big disappointment. $14 for a French Dip roll is excessive to put it mildly, store bought meat and cheese, probably no more than $2 at most, also very little flavor. We drove past this place on the highway and made a U turn when we saw the nursery sign. We just thought we were going to check out the gardens, ( which were plentiful) what a great surprise when we found the gift shop and cafe. The wonderful smells caught our attention first, then the friendly help and fun menu made us stay. We had a huge club sandwich, delicious fresh greens, tomatoes, yummy Bacon, Turkey and melted cheese on toasted bread. It comes with homemade potato salad or chips. We also had the soup of the day Tomato basal, so good. We were tempted by the homemade desserts but had to pass. The Baker kidded with us about the number of hummingbirds in the Hummingbird Cake! 6 in this recipe! It look delicious. This is a lovely, little gem on the outskirts of town. We walked the greenhouses while we waited for our food. It arrived at our table, under a beautiful, wisteria-covered gazebo before we even finished our stroll. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The portions were reasonable and the prices were more than fair for what we received. The garden setting and the friendly service made this all the more special for my Dad's 79th birthday. They even threw in a free side of oh, so yummy potato salad for him when they found out it was his big day. (He's still talking about the delicious mango chutney that was on his grilled ham & cheese sandwich!) If we're ever in Tillamook again we will definitely stop here....both for the plants and a wonderful meal! read more

Absolutely loved this gorgeous restaurant!!! It absolutely deserves the 5 stars it has earned. Our experience satiated all 5 senses between the delicious food and fantastic setting. This is a must stop along the 101. My boys enjoyed "the best grilled cheese" sandwiches. I loved the fresh tuna salad and my husband loved the turkey cranberry sandwich. I have loved going in to this establishment in the past, until the last 4 times that I've been in. I made the extra drive to support local business trying to find glimmer lights before Thanksgiving. I was told they would be available after Thanksgiving. So, I made the extra drive again ,(the day after small business day mind you), to be told she didn't have any but Freddies would. Are you kidding me? Freddies did not have them! So, back to Amazon. The past 4 times I went in I felt as if I was a bother and intrusion by the owner!! Wow! What a great place to relax, study, get some plants, get some cute gifts, or get a warm drink! There is also a fire place in here as well! There are tables and benches outside as well. It is basically a greenhouse that sells lots of garden plants/herbs and a coffee shop/antique/gift store! They have wonderful coffee from our hometown Hillsboro, OR (Long Bottom Coffee!) and the most important thing in a small town with hardly ANY wifi (Internet) places....FREE WIFI!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!. I am a poor college student so I like to frequent coffee places where I can study. I commute to Forest Grove a couple times a week. My wife also works close by. It was such a LARGE BLESSING to find this place! They have lots of tables inside, barstools and a counter, comfy couches and chairs, and very friendly doggies! They also serve delicious pastries, and other drinks. The atmosphere is very homely, welcoming and relaxing. Did I say Peaceful? I also even forgot my laptop cord charger and the owner let me use hers! She is super nice and her name is Jill. This is our new place to come study, hangout, go on dates and to take a relaxing walk through the garden/plant area over one of my Wife's favorite coffee places other than insomnia and stumptown! From what they hear, they might start making and serving their own food too! Hours of operation: Daily! 7a-6p M-F, 9a-6p Sat and 10a-6p on Sunday! The place is just South of the town of Tillamook. It's kinda hidden but if you are going north or south on the Oregon coast highway (101), You will see on your east side a small quickie market called south prairie market. Turn onto south prairie road and after the market (Which is also a gas station!), on your right, you will see Greenhouse Acres with a gravel parking lot. If you go past the S. Prairie elementary school on your left, then you have gone too far! Café Botanica is where the coffee is! I love this place so come check it out. read more

Of all the places to eat lunch on the coast I've never been somewhere where the food tasted this fresh and delicious. I had the turkey and cranberry sauce panini and it was amazing. All the dressings and sauces are made daily and you could definitely tell. Soooo good. The coffee is fab too... Also the atmosphere is so unique and beautiful you'll want to call this place home. I didn't want to leave! The prices are great for what my fiance and I got and I will definitely be returning SOON! Also, free wifi!! Make this place a stop on your way into Tillamook.
