Beneficial Insulation might be a good company if they showed up to their appointments!…read moreWe are looking for an insulation company that keeps appointments and doesn't waste peoples time.

The contract was with Beneficial Cliff Wakefield the contractor to do the siding plus gutters etc…read more and insulation and overhangs. Once the siding started one of the guys seemed to be the Chief (don't know his name will call him Chief), He was barking at the other guys and even had a yelling match then one told him he cannot tell his crew what to do. Lunchtime the chief came and TOLD me they needed paper plates and napkins as pizza had been ordered. I thought why are you TELLING me to get things but also asked if would like pop. He said GIVE us as many as you can WHAT!!! A few days later he came into my home when I was not home and took more pop. I know it was just pop but he had NO reason to be in my home and was not given permission to come into my home. I started to lock my door when they were working. Came home from work and the Chief came to me and said he waited for me to get home to talk me OUT of putting up the new overhangs. I said NO! He said What GOOD reason do you have for the overhangs. It is a lot of work. I told him again I want the overhangs on the side and in the front. I told him I was paying good money for it. He said he did not get that money but was being paid minimum wage. It should not matter what my reason is and it was already approved to be worked by the contractor. Once he finally started to put up the framework he made it shorter than the last one. I told him it was short he started yelling at me and said it was the same size as it was originally. It told him no it is not, short about 2 feet. He kept yelling at me and I told him this is my home and I know where things are to go and it needs to be extended. I called the contractor and about 15 mins later Chief came and apologized. I do not accept his apology as his bad attitude did not stop! Chief commented on my garage as there is moss on the siding. He said he had his power washer and wanted $100 cash. Gave him my number and he told me not to tell the contractor as did not want side jobs. Yet after how he treated me, he is never to come on my property and it is not OK for him to do anything else on my property! They also left tons of nails all over my lawn. I had to handpick them filling over a large container full! They also left cigarette butts in my yard inches to feet from my home. Was told by the contractor there would be NO smoking anywhere on my property. There was smoking right next to my home! They also ripped the kitchen screen and no one said anything, if they had said something it would have not been an issue. Chief started to put the top of the framework up and was using very thin rippled plastic. I told him that was not good as it was thin and not strong enough. The old overhang was made of metal and he even used a saw to take it down. He told me that I should be thankful for what I get! I know I am poor and home needed repair but he should never tell a customer or a woman that I should be thankful for what I get!! I knew I had to bite my tongue and knew I needed to play this game (play with the devil) to get this project done. Yet I am NOT ok with this! Beneficial does not work with women well. The way they speak to a woman as their paying customers is not acceptable. They did receive payment as promised yet this kind of treatment is unacceptable and I am not OK with how I was treated by Beneficial

Amy the office…read moremanager, Dave the sales representative, the removal and installation team were simply outstanding. Each step along the way we felt well communicated with and valued as a customer. Competitive pricing and overall all a great value. We had planned on doing a west facing wall but after showing Dave around at our problem areas and weighing the return on investment we decided on the attic. The first team removed all the old insulation with a giant vacuum, the took about 5 hours, the next team came the following day and sprayed in the new foam. There was one little issue that caused damage to the ceiling. They handled the issue like a professional company. They quickly let us know about the issue and had a repair scheduled the same day. Look at the pictures they did a great job!

A few days later the same lady called and wanted to make an appointment date? Then, they were going to come the Friday before to install a cover on an attic fan we have. They called Thursday to install an attic stairs? I told them it was only an enclosure. She said it was not needed to come then, they would do it during the insulation install? A half hour later they called back and wanted to come anyway to make the enclosure. She told me she would call in the morning with the time of arrival. At 8:30 my doorbell was ringing, they were already here? Never got a call? The guys arrived in unmarked car and pickup truck (looked like their own vehicles?) It was raining hard so I let them use my garage to cut their materials but they had to go to the local big box store to get them! They did a good job and left. The guy even made a cover for me to cover the fan in the winter months but left it off as the sealant was still wet, he did not want to get cover stuck. On install day I finally got a text saying they were on their way at 8:45am. A marked truck showed up this time pulling a trailer. He said another crew was also on the way. He said they would go up and start the air sealing (I was not getting air sealing?) and install the baffles. He had to call the shop to find out there was no air sealing! They went up to install baffles and I told him about the cover the guy left off. After a bit they came down and said they were done, just waiting on the other crew? I went up the ladder to see the work they had done, they got the baffles up but glued on the cover to the enclosure! I told him the cover was supposed to be removable, he said he would remove it and clean off the glue. Once the guys showed up with the insulation blower it only took a few moments before their machine broke down. They attempted to fix it with no luck. They finally left and came back with a rental from a big box store? They tried again, the stuff was moving slow but it was now at least moving. That did not last long! It finally quit blowing altogether and another guy brought some other insulation. That did not work either, so they went back to the store and got another unit. It finally worked. When they were done I went in to get a check to pay them. When I came out the guy had the ladder up to the attic already closed and was cleaning up. It was now 5:30 pm and I was leaving early the next morning to be gone for 5 days. I never got a chance to check out the final job? Everyone was tired so I thought It would be fine, I'd look when I got home? Once home the following Sunday I did not get to look, Monday was a blizzard outside, Tuesday I had appointments and had out of town visitors arriving. I finally looked the the job on Wednesday. Boy was I disappointed. At least one of the baffles had already fallen down, one was completely plugged with insulation and most of the bays were not even full of insulation! I sent an e-mail to the salesman, he answered he was sorry and would let the office know. I never heard from them in two days? I sent another e-mail to the office directly on Sunday evening, as of Monday night I still have no reply? I paid the bill in good faith an ddid not demand they put the ladder back up to inspect the work. Nobody else inspected the kids work either that sprayed the insulation? The job Is not done and they don't seem to care to call back?? I would not recommended his company!

Even before the project started both Olivia and Jarron took the time to answer any questions and address any concerns I had regarding the equipment being installed and the overall scope of the project. Day 1, first up was a couple of electrical guys, quickly followed by Jarron and his HVAC team, Ben & Ryan. All on time and ready to get to it. Professional, pleasant and remarkably tolerant of my nonstop questions about the systems, the guys went to work and, other than a quick lunch break, worked nonstop, not particularly concerned about the clock but more about getting to a reasonable stopping place for the day. By the time they were finished, everything was operational, square and plumb, all pipes, valves, duct work and conduit looking very slick, orderly and professional. (5 stars just on the sheet metal work alone). Next up was the weatherization team with Nick leading the charge. Again, on time and ready to go. These guys, Zarek, Steven and Danial, came in with a plan and went right two it, peeling off to address varying issues and again, once on the ground it was go time for these guys. Remarkably, all willing and ready to jump in to even the less desirable parts of the project (like who really wants to go into a hot attic and crawl around in the corners? But they did it and with no hesitation or whining). Over all there were several things that impressed me about the Greenlink teams. There is the obvious stuff, like the punctuality and, remarkably, the through cleanup at the end of each day, and also the obvious work ethic, mutual respect amongst the team members and easy and informative communication with me. I think what was the most reassuring though, you could see the obvious pride the Greenlink people take in their work and, just as importantly, the obvious pride they take in working as part of the Greenlink team. That says a lot. I would not hesitate to recommend Greenlink Energy Solutions to anyone. I suspect my neighbors are already tired of hearing about how good they are.
