We had recently had a storm in April and she was here at our home and was nothing but professional we decided to go with Larson services simply because they care about their customer so much.!!!! the team was great. They got us in ahead of schedule and got a roof done in seven hours. We live in a fairly large home in the Lodi area. I was so impressed when I came home from work at 3 o'clock and everything was done, cleaned up and perfect you would never know when they were here other than we have a brand new roof. I hired Larson to install gutter guards to the tune of $9000. I have a 2500 sf home. The company later offered to insulate my attic for over $20,000, which I declined. I had another attic insulation company evaluate my attic, and was told they felt the insulation was adequate, but if they were to do everything Larson suggested, the cost would be less than $5,000. I would never hire Larson again. read more

We have a very old home and they did a wonderful job. They were quick with setting up the initial app't., and very clear with the estimate. Sales rep was super helpful and answered all our questions. The job wasn't huge but had its challenges. They went above and beyond with their work. The guys were all very friendly and answered questions I had. They were respectful of the home area. Larson's Home Services is the absolute worst company I have ever contracted with. I called for weeks just to get the insulation scheduled. The insulation wasn't finished when the techs left, so for 3 months I continued to call for them to come back and finish the job. The techs sprayed foam all over the basement when they did the exposed portion of the basement. They didn't put down plastic or move or cover anything in the basement and got spray foam ALL over everything. The appliances, the ceiling, the walls, the boxes in the basement, the curtains. EVERYTHING. I had to call for weeks then to get the roof cap portion of the projects scheduled. Finally got it scheduled, and got a call the day they were supposed to come out, but were not going to be able to make it. So I got a call saying it was rescheduled for the next day. No one called the next day and no one showed up. Never got any other communication about rescheduling or sorry they didn't come out or call. Just a full week later at 5:55 am I got a text from a tech saying they were on the way to my house. Unreal. Finally got someone to come back and finish the insulation job, 3 months after the job was originally supposed to be finished. I was told they would give me $100 per day there was a delay on their end, and it was a struggle to get them to even honor the week long delay from when the roof cap was supposed to be done to when it was rescheduled without informing me at all. I called and messaged and sent texts to get a final bill and that was even a nightmare and couldn't get it for months. The only time these people called me back is when I refused the loan to go through. Then they were prompt in getting back to me. I must have tried to get in contact with people from this company over 100 times, calling/messaging up to 3 times a week. And I must have gotten maybe 7 replies total. Do not use them, you will be sorry. I should have known by the struggle it took to even schedule the work. Terrible company. read more

DO NOT HIRE. Hired them in March of 2022 to take our our fiberglass insulation, air seal and blow in cellulose. They finally "finished" the job in May 2023 after coming 7 times, causing countless damages to our property (to name a few: broke our storm door twice and ruined our living room base board, didn't clean up their messes and dust), caused water damage and black mold in our attic, caused our windows to condense so heavily that they grew mold AND stepped off the beams in our attic and nearly had half our living room ceiling crash in with a six foot crack. I've finally calmed down enough to write a review.... I could seriously write a novel about this experience because it took 16 months to resolve (and still isn't as the living room drywall is still damaged), but I'll try to offer the bullet points to best inform you and inspire you to seek business elsewhere for this kind of project. On the surface, they seemed great, but do not believe their 2 hour long assessment and power point smoke show. Not only did they lie to us about a really minor issue our insulation had but they guaranteed their work would resolve things, which it did not and they caused more significant issues and damage. They lied about the work that was going to be done, they flat out took short cuts and neglected to complete the work. They didn't spray foam many areas in the attic and flat out didn't put any insulation around the perimeter of the attic, and it wasn't to the depth it should have been. Over summer the house felt insanely humid and we could only see what the issue was once the winter months rolled around (wet spots all over the ceiling and walls). They kept sending the same crew over and over. It wasn't until I threatened litigation and demanded they send a new crew to fix the work that they took me seriously. They told us that it was essentially our problem now and we would need to pay for an air exchange system because of the work they did and "sealing up the house too efficiently." When asked why this wasn't assessed initially with their 2 hour long assessment, they had no answers. We had two other companies come in, assess things and debunked Larson's lies and it felt very validating. I contacted Focus on Energy and reported them because Larson also neglected to share any rebate information with us. Focus discovered a long list of negligent issues including covering up our ridge vent, and all ventilation systems in the attic so our house could not breathe. It make sense why our house was sweating and mold was growing in our windows and they blamed us and our houseplants!! Our energy bill has not seen a decrease at all despite the owner guaranteeing our house is now more energy efficient than before. They didn't do a blower test, or audit which Energy on Focus said they should have done, per their contract with them. At the end of the day, we would have been better off saving $7,000 and countless hours of our lives. We demanded some money back and finally after two months of asking and calling Andrew Larson finally called us, but he didn't want to give us any money back initially and claimed "the work was done." He also stood behind his crew when we never set foot in our home or visibly saw the shit they caused. It was all incredibly dismissive and unprofessional all around. The minimal amount we got back is not nearly enough when we have lost over 40 hours of our life with crews coming, damages and stains to our walls and ceilings, straight up being gaslit, and not being able to have piece of mind and trust their in their work and investment in our home. This was hands down the worst experience we've ever had with contractors and we've hired many. At the end of the day, I've shared this with everyone including a well known realtor in the area who has also spread the word to her clients and across the realtor community. I'm hoping this review will reach people too and save you money, tears, headaches and ultimately damages to your home. No one should ever have this experience at this cost financially or emotionally. read more

I was a little worried, because I'd just signed a chunk of money away for high-quality gutters, and wasn't that a little silly? NO. I made a GREAT choice. I had new gutters WITHIN A WEEK. Larson didn't mess around with my schedule or have me waiting or cancel on me. They figured out how to solve the drainage problem I'd been having over my bay window for YEARS. I don't have a huge house, so they were cleaned up and out of my hair before 3pm. Sean and Jacob were the names of the two workers who did everything on the house. They communicated everything that needed to happen, every change from the original plan, and never once did they make me feel stupid for not knowing terms or processes.
