The Drop Zone Arcade owner is extremely rude! I did notify the mall a 2nd time of the no refund policy on the games. What kind of place rips people off. All we want to do is play what we paid for. Upon going back the same game to more of our money. They didn't bother fixing it. I even took the time to make out of order signs for each game that ripped us off. He also owns the Graphics T-shirt shop next to the former Fannie Mays. Well previously we order a t-shirt there. Although it was very good quality work we received a long sleeved shirt not the t-shirt we ordered. We were offered nothing to compensate his mess up. This mall is awful. To give you an idea of how dated, unimpressive, and lacking of choices this place is heres a list of missing and CRUCIAL stores: Get ready for this... There is no: Forever21 MAC cosmetics store/counter Sephora Guess Ulta Hollister A&F Charlotte Russe Macy's DILLARDS Nordstrom Fredricks of Hollywood H&M Spencers Hot Topic And there sure as hell aren't any boutiques There is a Chuckie Cheese (WTF), Khols, Yankee Candle, and Sears. This is a typical mall in a typical town. The shining gem of this mall is probably the Kohl's store. As for the other stores there are just the typical mall type stores there. The main reason I go to the mall is for Kohl's. The food court is weak and very small, so don't be shocked by that. The place I would grab food from is Auntie Anne's just because the pretzels are amazing. The one thing that would make the mall better is an Apple store, but lets be honest that is not going to happen. The mall could improve by bringing in some stores that are more main stream that would drive sales. As well, investing in more food options could make the mall more of a shopping destination and not a place to go to a specific store for a specific reason. Overall, I have been to better malls and this one has some work to do to get to three stars. If Kohl's wasn't there this mall wouldn't be worth the time to visit. So, if you have a specific store that is there that you need to go to then it is probably not worth your time. read more

Considering this is a smaller town the mall is not terrible and has certainly been revamped since I was last there in high school (probably 2000ish). Are you going to find everything you want? Probably not. Can you get by in a pinch? Likely. There are definitely some random stores (B-12 shots behind a partition, anyone?) but also mall staples like Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Claire's, etc. It's not an upscale shopping experience, but if I lived in Janesville I'd probably be happy I didn't always have to drive to Madison or another larger city for every mall errand. read more

1. Auntie Anne's is probably the nastiest place to eat in the mall. Once in awhile, when nothing else in the mall is available, I order from here. Only to have almost all of the menu items "out of stock". This isn't even during peak times, or even right before closing time. Otherwise maybe it would be understandable. So finally when I decide to get pretzel bites and bring bite into them..they are hard as a rock. So disgusting! I am tired of you guys screwing us over. 2. RUE 21. What the heck? Stopped in here while traveling to look for some clothes; Penney's store is closing, which is too bad. Looking like it could use a facelift, but was reasonably busy on an early Saturday afternoon. It does have a Christopher and Banks store, which was my destination. read more

This mall has made amazing improvements! They have gotten all new flooring seating and lighting! They are adding multiple stores such as dicks and ulta! Opening on sept 18 2015! They are also adding a rue 21 and much more! This mall has made a complete turn around!:) it's my one-stop-shop for when I go shopping! Yankee candle, pink, vs, Boston store, kohls, nails salon, Fannie May, brow bar, jewelry places, hair salon, Sears, and furry babies (cute little puppies!) love going to this mall! This was a nice mall but it's been loosing alot of its main stores. I like their Kohls and Boston stores. Oh yes the C J Banks store. The food court is just sad. The Mall needs a redo. I guess they may be getting a Dicks sporting good store??? Needs something...... read more

I really wasn't impressed when I went shopping there. The mall is very tiny and there aren't many stores to choose from. The bathrooms are always dirty and the food court is very small. This is probably the worst mall I have ever been to. read more

The Janesville Mall hasn't changed much since I left town. It's nice to see newer stores that I shopped at in Las Vegas. OK, so I never shopped at many exciting stores, but at least there is a Yankee Candle (My husband is going to have me banned from that store), Ulta, Gamestop, Kohl's, and some kitchen gadget store. I cannot remember the name, but I love those little cute stores! You have a nail place, Chuck E. Cheese, Forever 21, Maurices, etc. It's just a bland mall, but you can still find something. There isn't really a food court. It's just a couple of fast food choices (Panda Express, Orange Julius, etc). If you're looking for a bigger mall with more options, drive to Madison. read more

Realizing as I do how difficult it is for the indoor malls to make a go of it in New Millennium, I have to give Janesville Mall credit for attempting to revamp its preexisting space to attract. They had comfy chairs in groups and there was always a place to sit if you have someone with you with mobility issues. They were in the midst of a revamp when I was there today, lots of loud construction going on and had banners up, proclaiming the new stores that were coming in. They were trying to transition between being low priced store mall and a more upscale shopping destination. That said, I enjoyed looking around and taking advantage of some good deals going on at The Shoe Dept. (great place to find decent foot ware at sometimes rock bottom prices, especially when they get down to one or two pair). One thing I noticed in the three of the shops I went into had a ton of pop culture merchandise on offer, especially the Funco figures. (I guess the only ones with disposal income anymore are school age kids still living at home.) I was particularly disappointed that Books A Million did not have a million books, instead they had toys and the aforementioned pop culture stuff. Maybe on a rainy day when you have nothing better to do, it's a way to kill an afternoon, but I'd rather do something else. In response to Chloe O., yes, the food court is nothing to write home about, but they do have a Spencer's now. One last thing, if you are from out of town and don't have a map or GPS, you will have a hard time finding the Janesville Mall. There is NO signage up around Route 14 to tell you where it is. Here's a tip JM, if you want people to know about the mall out on 90, you might want to spring for a sign or two. read more

Went to Irepair man got aggressive when I waved at him he charged at me uncomfortably took phone from hand and started running away. Then forced to buy a case and tempered glass in mid of situation he tried to lure and old women to purchase a new screen charging almost double in quote manager discount. Furry Babies is still in this mall. Please if you can take a look and research this business. A company that sells puppies which some would consider a puppy mill. They've been feature in the Gazette, protested and still it seems rent is more important to mall management. Until that store is closed I will not be visiting the mall. read more

Although this mall does have some nice stores A&E, Rue, Pacsun, Buckle, Body Central, they are all the SAME NO VARIETY, all the same clothes and styles for all the same genre lets get some damn variety besides Kohls and Maurice's it would be a Total waste! Food court..... What food court? There is a Fannie May, bath and body and Vic secret so those are nice shopping and of course Yankee candle is now there I hear there is many plans in place for remodel and heard Dicks Sporting and Ulta will be coming soon we will see!! Hope it is a total remodel to get out of the 70's bring this mall up to times!!!! read more
