I was appalled reading that lengthy diatribe posted by another user, dragging her and the office through the mud. I can't imagine who she might be writing about, because it is beyond my ability to even imagine the soft spoken, diminutive and gentle Dr. Shaw "yelling" at anyone! The complainer also claims, that "the positives appear to be possibly written by paid reviewers or her manager," which is curious since there were no other reviews posted. The positives appear to be possibly written by paid reviewers or her manager. Long story short; the bad and poor reviews are true. She does not do a physical and charges the insurance for them. She is now being investigated for insurance fraud according to my insurance company. She is, hostile, abrupt and not competent. I immediately obtained my medical records and read them after the last visit because she did not do a physical. The medical records showed fictitious entries too numerous (and catty adolescent remarks, also) to write here. I wrote a summary for my insurance company and produced my own evidence for them. One of my labs showed blood levels 10 x higher than normal and she did not mention it. She was supposed to give a pelvic, which she didn't and told me to go elsewhere. She didn't do a physical and did not touch me; yet in my records, she wrote that 'my bowels sounds' were such and such, and fabricating the rest of the physical in detail. When she was leaving, I ask her if she was going to do a physical. She angrily stated that she had! She wrote fiction in my medical records stating diagnosis that I have never had, and when the insurance company mediated, she refused to change her notes, stating that this was diagnosed from a questionnaire that she would forward, but never did, because this was fiction also. I don't drink/smoke but she treated me like a drug addict when I requested pain meds for an old upper arm/chest injury; the same meds that she had given me 15 months before. When I reminded her that she had given me this prescription herself, she denied, almost yelling. Yet, they were in my med records that I received! She even wrote my insurance stating she ran a report with WA/ ID Prescription Monitoring to verify (quote) that "Shaw truly had never filled this med for the patient," when the prescription was clearly in the medical records she sent me! She doesn't even read her own records. If you are a patient, get your medical records and please call your insurance company, to see if she is charging for a physical. Her office phoned me regarding dose of new meds & accidently told me to take the new smaller dose with the last larger dose, giving me an overdose that was damaging. I could write 9 pages, as I did with the insurance investigators. I am a professional with advanced education and am appalled this woman's actions and pity the older needy people in her waiting room expecting someone to advocate for them. Run, Bambi, Run!
