What to say about Janina? I have been thinking about this review for over a week on what I wanted to say. This woman moves mountains without even breaking a sweat. She did ALL the legwork on the property side of our first home purchase. I have dealt with other realtors in the past, and I was ready to do everything myself. Nope, I never even had to ask. I am responding to Janina's response of my review. It was not at all honest and accurate. If anyone wants copies of the emails between Janina and myself, I will be happy to forward them to you. After I posted my review, she emailed me pleading for me to take it down. She told me "if I were a good person" I would take down my review. I responded and told her that my review was honest, and it stays up. I told her that I had over 30 salespeople and was in the real estate business myself for many years and that her approach was too pushy, and it would cost her business by over-qualifying people. I was trying to help her by giving her good advice. When I contacted her originally, we spoke for about an hour. I explained to her in detail what my criteria in buying a home would be and my budget. I also sent her an email detailing both. She told me later in an email, before sending me any listings, that she needed some proof that I am not a "scammer" as she put it, and my financial information proving that I was, in her words, "a serious buyer". This is before she sent me any listings of homes. I sent her my Facebook information detailing my business and location, several online documents that she could easily get showing proof of my business and that I was the retired owner and President of Eli Property Company, where I lived, photos of me, photos of the ranch I will be selling, etc. This is exactly what I have done in the past dealing with female realtors and they were all extremely satisfied that I would go to the trouble of sending so much information regarding my identity before we met. Janina also wanted financial information proving that I was in her words "a serious buyer" proving I had money to buy, and I wouldn't be wasting her time. I told her I had never been to North Carolina before, and I need to see the area to see if I even liked it before we got into budget. This was BEFORE she had sent me listings of homes. I have copies of her emails verifying everything I've posted. I told her she is too pushy, is over-qualifying people, and would turn people off with her approach.
