WARNING do not HIRE! I am a general contractor and I hired Jan to fix 3 tubs in a multi family building that I had just built. He showed up fairly soon after getting in touch with him but then it went downhill from there. He "fixed" the three tubs in 2 hours and wanted a check immediately for more than what was quoted, almost $1,000. Come to find out he cashed it before he left town. Within 48 hrs two of the tubs cracked worse than before and I have spent 6 months trying to get him back to fix it. He calls or texts once in a while and then realizes it is warranty work and he ghosts me again. I would never, ever let him on a jobsite again or recommend anyone to hire him. I have finally decided the $1,000 is gone and it's not worth chasing after him anymore. He was also featured on Valley News for being a disreputable contractor. read more

Our experience was great it was much cheaper and even though my wife was skeptical due to the responses on the website we were both happy in the end other than the fact that they did have to reschedule due to weather but all and all it was a great experience and it kept some much needed money in my pocket so from my family to your's thank you so much read more

We hired Jan's to paint our tub. They did not show up at the time they said, left cigarette butts in our yard, the job was sloppy, huge drips in the paint, overspray in the hallway outside of the bathroom, when the tub was put back together it wasn't done correctly which resulted in our bathroom flooding and having to call a plumber, costing us an extra $285. After calls, letters and emails complaining about the drips and the overspray in the hallway, they finally (randomly) showed up to fix it. Unfortunately, they sanded down the drip in the tub and now the original yellow tub is exposed. Not a professional experience and I personally wouldn't recommend in the future. read more

Most unprofessional, disrespectful, unorganized, messy, and straight up unkind contractor or service I have EVER worked with. I wish I would have read some reviews on this business beforehand and gone a different route. The communication was very poor, basically nonexistent. Multiple times Jan hung up ON me while I was explaining what was going wrong. The actual refinish job was very poor and required his employee to come back 4+ times. I asked Jam to meet with me to review the problems and see how we can fix it to move forward and be would not meet me and quit answering my calls. Overall, the project is at least done up to a barely satisfactory job, I have paint stains on my carpet, and I would highly not recommend this business to anybody. read more

I am so glad that I took the advice of All American Plumbing Heating (great guys themselves) and called Jan. He returned all my calls promptly and professionally. He made an appointment, he arrived promptly, repaired my shower pan faster than I could have hoped for, was pleasant, intelligent and best of all had a sense of humor. The bill was really reasonable and I am going to follow up with him on some concrete work. I have spent my life around tradespeople and can say confidently Jan does good work and cares about the quality. Thank you Jan and assistant for saving me hundreds of dollars!!!! Very nice employee. However, he did not show up. I called the company and they postponed me for another week. Then I had to call them because person was late, and I wanted to make sure I wasn't being stood up again. He did not wear shoe covers or make any effort to protect my floor. He ran out of materials for this very small job at least twice, and left for long lengths of time to get more materials. The job ended up costing more than what was quoted by phone, site unseen. I had my jets and motor removed and the resulting tub holes patched and painted. We'll see how it holds up. I'm sorry for this poor review.
