It's a thrift shop. All of the stuff in the store was donated to them, so the woman Ann who runs it could lighten up a little. Whenever she is in the store, you can feel the mood change as she yells at everyone. Not the most pleasant of places to browse around sometimes. That being said, it has a nice selection of clothing and household items, glassware and estate jewelry. It is all neatly arranged and they don't put a lot of junk out. It's worth a trip to go in and see what they have. You never know what you may find and it all goes to a great cause.

From the outside, Golden Rainbow Antiques looked interesting. Outside the building there's a…read morecluster of garden statues, some pink plastic flamingoes (faded to beige by the sun), and a half-hidden commercial jukebox. Inside, there were lots of glass items (including a lamp with an amazing green glass base, and a stained glass shade that just didn't seem to go with the base). I noticed a full size figure of a knight in armor, an enamel coffee-pot made into a lamp base, a child size piano, a clarinet in its carrying case. There were some painted Indonesian wood sculptures, a collection of ceramic dogs (heavy on French poodles, but some other breeds as well), a collection of ceramic roosters, and lots more ceramic and glass items. It's a small space, and felt a bit cramped. There were some advertising items, some ceramic planters, and a couple of shelves of Hall china. Some items were priced, but many had no indication of price (which always makes me think the merchant wants to price it based on how much it looks like the customer can pay). All in all a small shop, filled with many items, mostly "smalls."

I tested positive for Covid on Thursday and emailed Monica immediately to request a refund. Not only did she say no, she said that even if I was better, that we cannot attend. She said I have to show no symptoms for 5 days which aren't the actual CDC guidelines. To not even be seated separately at an outdoor event when the CDC released information that 24 hours of no symptoms means I'm good to go is simply rude. My case is mild and by the time the event happens it will have been 3 full days which exceeds the guidelines. We won't be back or recommending this farm. Treat people with empathy especially when they are honest with you. With the rise in Covid cases, I can promise at least one attendee at the dinner has Covid anyway and omitted it. Good luck.

Green Acres says their 10 year warranty doesn't cover normal wear and tear. I think a garage with a 10 year warranty should cover a defective plywood floor that collapses after only two years of use. They refuse to repair the defective plywood floor. I hope to spread the word about their deceptive and unfair business practices.
