I really try to stay away from Japan Home Center if I am consciously trying not to spend, because there seems to be something that you realise you always "NEED" whenever you're inside. I guess their simple pricing (Php 88) creates such a convincing idea that you're actually saving money... which you won't be because they have GREAT stuff that are just hard to pass up.
I started a light "addiction" to Japan Home stores when I first lived on my own and had this new place that just sorely needed stuff. And, for someone like me who's always on a budget, Japan Home would be an obvious, convenient choice for good quality (well, more often than not) cheap house stuff.
It's funny to find myself suddenly "needing" teapots, tea infusers, insulated tote bags for food, wooden frames, small bowls with cats on them, and at one point a bunny-shaped mold for creating bento boxes. It's crazy how these stores can suck all your money so effortlessly with a strategic pricing and decent product quality. I suggest you stay clear if you do not have a great deal of self-control! read more
