Someone once told me that Heritage cars had a Delorean DMC-12 for sale, since then I have always…read morewanted to go along to see if this was true. I have always admired the car from the Back to the Future films and had only ever seen a DMC-12 at Universal Studios in Florida. When I got here I was very disappointed that the Delorean wasn't here, I even asked. The response was a short and sharp no, making me feel a bit silly. The most interesting car they had was a Vintage Ferrari, something that was nice to look at, but nothing special. The selection of cars in the showroom was quite small, I expected a lot more. I was quite disappointed as a result and decided not to take any of the cars for a test drive.

Oh. And Em. And also Gee. This is not your average second hand car dealer. As the name suggests,…read morethese are luxury British cars with a huge price tag. Heritage Car Collection have a small but perfectly formed collection of Rolls-Royces and Bentleys, along with other British makes. The staff in here are approachable, they know their cars and they aren't pushy. They also possess a certain detached somberness that is useful when selling cars at an eye-watering cost. I'm looking at what most consider to be the classic sports car: A red Ferrari 360. At £70,000, (even though its got just 27,000 miles on the clock), I'm not going to be driving this baby out of the showroom today. I guess I'll have to settle for a valet on my existing model! My husband bought a nearly new car from this dealership and they seemed good to start with. They…read morehave a big showroom with all sorts of their cars on display that you an sit in and look at. Their car park is ridiculous as there are very few spaces and it's very difficult to turn round in. It's right across Birmingham for us to get to but they have never offered a courtesy car when the car has gone in for service. The stereo system started playing up along with numerous other things and the car went back in the garage to be fixed, except they told us it was fixed and it wasn't till we got halfway back across Birmingham that we realised they not fixed anything at all! It has cost us a lot in petrol tooing and froing to he garage and they haven't once given us an apology. We won't be taking the car back to that garage and wouldn't buy another car from it.

I have to admit that servicing is expensive but we are not high mileage users. We haven't had any dealings with used cars, so I wouldn't know how they compare, but if you have an issue with them, make a formal complaint. Citroen Birmingham is an island site, making customer parking minmal, so ask sales for the best time to go, or make an appointment. We have never had a problem in that respect, otherwise they may not have had our business for so long. We would recommend Citroen Birmingham, but know yor budget, and you can negotiate the best deal for you.
