Tucked away in a corner of Forest Road, it's pretty easy to simply pass by this restaurant. However, each time I pass by there's always a smattering of patrons seated next to the large windows at the front of the shop, although I have to admit I've never been there during the usual lunch hours.
The interior is cozy, and the restaurant isn't suited for larger gatherings.
Prices are relatively cheap considering the generous helping they serve. I ordered the pork katsudon and was able to leave on a full stomach (an understatement, really) for a mere $9.
The taste was quite homely, nothing spectacular, but the katsu could have stood to be a little crispier. Other than that, I've no complaints. read more
