Leadership of Dr Torres He is a good doctor. He combines…read moreclinical competence with empathy, strong communication skills , and the integrity to provide patient-centered care. He is calm under pressure, possess critical problem-solving skills, and is committed to lifelong learning to adapt to new medical advancements. His ssential traits include listening, honesty, and resilience, compassionately direct, unambiguous, methodological knowledge based approach in Chair side communication when caring for patients at the clinic. Nugget number two: Dr Tynes This is duplicated in the Acupuncturist Dr Tynes. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Tynes to anyone seeking genuine, holistic healing. Her intelligence, skill, and compassionate nature make her a standout practitioner in her field. She is a miracle guru with her needles. She is a testament to the power of integrative medicine and an invaluable asset to the US healthcare community. And a wonderful for patients and staff at Dedicated Seniors. Nugget number three: Nurse Practitioner Singh who has a doctorate in Nursing. Is absolutely fantastic. Her communication skills are outstanding. She support patients with the best available information, while respecting their individual values and preferences. She always ask courteous yet skillfully probing questions, letting patients talk, and listen to them extrapolating carefully what is going on. She gives unbiased advice, let people participate actively in their decisions related to their health. Nugget number 4: Melanie: brilliantly knowledgeable, caring and methodical what every clinic needs : excellent in phlebotomy, communication with patient listening skills which comes with 20 plus years of experience in the medical arena. Personnel that maintains a calm , authoritative , "command presence, towards patients and colleagues."Which is a tool for stability. She has been exposed to bowels of Hades, watching solders having the jaws is life snatched from them while she assisted in field surgical operations I In Iraq like I did in Afghanistan as a medic. It's see one, do one and pray the Gods are with you! She is rare not very many females in the military that are medics. We are and were rarely treated with respect by the Military men, only when they were in need. So it made me very proud to know that Dedicated Seniors had a genuine X Military Medic working there caring genuinely for us patients. the clinic should be honored to have a Combat Medic working at Dedicated. Our Vets took care of our men and we must support and take care of them. Her demeanor was immediately apparent and recognizable, because I took care of the Military as a private contractor. She definitely displays a comforting sense of peace. Which is necessary when working with so many different patient personalities. I feel safe when she is working. She possesses a strong knowledge base and displays discipline with a strong sense of responsibility and calm. There are many others that I have been treated by but they are gone. I honestly know and feel where ever they are, that they are an excellent resource brilliant addition for their new jobs. My fifth gold nuggets: Angela, absolutely fantastic. Another ancillary team member that is professionally qualified knowledgeable, polite, friendly and efficient. She also is excellent at phlebotomy, patient care management, great communication skills and very self confidence with years of experience in the medical field. My sixth gold nugget: Alicia- She is my go to person. A true ray of sunshine. Super friendly and caring. Very methodical and driven. She is a task master. I have hired many people to fulfill many slots during my 50 years of running things. Always looking for multitasking people who can transition from one thing to the next yet very comfortably in their own specialty. She, Melanie and Angela, Tammy and Tanya are always willing to help irregardless of what the issue is. They promise to check and look into the matter and get back to you! I trust and feel safe with these women. They are true patient advocates. It's one of the reasons I am still a patient with this clinic. My main reason I am happy and satisfied with Dedicated Seniors is Dr.Torres,Dr.Tynes and Nurse Practitioner Singh. They presently are my team that keeps me going

Well it's time for a quarterly report! And as the young…read morepeople say this place really "sucks " now! Let's see in the past three weeks we have had two Clients pass out one coming in the door and the other a week later passed out in the lobby. Did they learn anything things? Well they got rid of Melanie who was a medic in the army and Angela who knew how to handle emergencies efficiently. The new team (new and borrowed) from the other clinics didn't cut the mustard. A lot of, I mean a lot of medical faux pas's were committed by inexperienced workers. Not once but twice, why ??? This is supposed to be a place where Seniors come to because they should feel safe and comfortable with the fact that someone here knows what to do! They keep pushing the boundaries of patients care . Always trying to program us Seniors that we are part of a "Care Team???" Definition of Team is a group of individuals working together to achieve a common goal or purpose. That goal should be to keep The Senior members of the team healthy, in clear mention, encourage socialization, maintain nutrition, keep seniors moving physically and to stimulate their development, maintain open communication and to arouse or energize our creativity. Team members typically have complementary skills and collaborate to maximize their strengths and minimize weaknesses. Well, they certainly do have a lot of weaknesses here! So my question and a lot of other patients want to know how are we a care team??? Today was an excellent example of poor team work. The Roman soldiers knew that United you stand divided you fall... we've had two falls! There's no Unity in Care! I booked a ride to attend the Writing Class. The Clinic canceled the ride without finding out from me if I still wanted to attend. My ride was cancelled because the session was reduced from two hours to one hour. Due to the fact they were closing the Clinic at noon. As usual Senior Team members have witnessed in the past " A DECISION IS MADE AND THE SENIOR TEAM MEMBERS FIND OUT LAST OR AFTER THE FACT, "'BUT "' we are a care team member???? Today was an "Unannounced change" where by all team members involved were not notified in advance, Especially the Professor who hold the writing workshops! I was livid, the audacity to not inform me or ask if I wanted to attend the session for one hour as opposed to two hours. The Chapter I stayed up all night to complete, now could not be read, could not be corrected and I now have no idea about a rewrite. My time wasted, my time stolen. I'm not a child. I enjoy making my own decisions. I didn't need a pseudo care team to make a decision for me and totally discredit me as an individual. I called the center after calling members of my writing group who were all there at the clinic reviewing their writings. The first person that I spoke to was evasive and put me on hold twice. Meanwhile in the background my house guest was asking why did they cancel the ride and not tell you?? Telephone agent number one passed me over to telephone agent number two... who had no listening skills at all. She definitely needed classes in handling public relations, listening, and how to de-escalate and calm down a client. No not her I yelled and started ranting because she interrupted me several times with statements " You don't know what happened!" When in reality I did know because i called and talked to my writing members! Then she yelled: " So you think we just excluded you? " " i yelled back No, you made a decision for me by canceling my ride first without giving me an option of still coming and having an hour session instead of two. But no pièce de résistance here, She escalated it further and yelled "LET ME STOP YOU RIGHT THERE!" I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU YELL AT ME!" ( Interesting when both of us are yelling) I yelled transfer me now if you can yell at me, I can yell at you transfer me now! I finally spoke to someone, intelligent with great listening skills. She was a kindred spirit, she calmed me down and gave me an explanation of things that had transpired and openly admitted that they did not call my Hearing phone. I have bilateral hearing deficit from sickle cell and lattice degeneration from the sickle cell, so I don't see well and I don't hear well. The phone call was made to the mobile phone which I don't hear. She corrected my file and put the Hearing phone number as contact number which they have been told that from the time I started at the clinic, but it was never done after she corrected that she had a option, which was very thoughtful. she asked if I wanted to attend the last 25 minutes of the class? They would send someone for me so I could have my writing evaluated. That is why she's in charge. She handled this situation splendidly. Her name is Tammy. She is from the original old crew! That is the difference of displaying "Care and she demonstrated what a Team member does! The new people no idea. Tammy deserves a five rating, but no one else.
