Conceptually, it's much more than a barre studio and actually couldn't believe everything that was included with a day pass: 1. Comfortable, sumptuous space in a few rooms for those in search of a quiet work environment or just want a little socialization on those remote work days. The decor is vintage chic and the sofas/chairs are very comfy, complete with afghans to snuggle in. 2. Zoom booth - soundproof booth for those needing complete privacy during their zoom, podcast, etc. sessions 3. Sparkling water, still water, a couple wines on tap! And ice of course. 4. Barre studio with amazing instructors 5. Salon area where you can schedule blow outs after workout (extra) 6. Inclusive childcare with onsite nannies so you can work out without worry 7. Sauna to unwind and detox 8. Relaxation and recovery lounge where you can try out the full length compression boots. 9. You can get spray tanning if you book in advance (extra) 10. Lockers and shower facilities. For February, they are offering 50% off a day pass. I think this is a no-brainer for women wanting a quiet, safe, inspirational space to work or socialize, especially with the free onsite childcare. I am definitely coming back.

They had all the equipment you would want (we actually don't even have yoga mats yet) and have this great foam flooring throughout the room. The class was small - Just 4 of us - which meant you got a lot of individual attention. The instructor was very cool, kept it light (not pretentious, thank god) and played music too, which I like a lot. It was challenging, but I am no expert and could handle it. They seem to have a lot of cool workshops (meditation, more challenging poses, etc.) too and generally it was a community feel, where you could really get to know your instructor. For an uptown spot that isn't hot yoga (ugh), recommend!

It's an…read moreincredible space that encourages friendships and community - so you won't feel like you're in a stretching competition with the person next to you like some other Hoboken studios. I mostly take the yoga classes with Christina on Wednesdays and she's one of the best instructors I've ever had. There are a variety of other wellness and fitness classes available and if you buy a class card, you can use that for all of the classes. The classes are laid back, begin on time and are never so full you don't have enough space. The studio also has all the gear you'll need, so if you're a beginner who is just starting out, you don't need to make an initial investment in a mat, cushion, blanket, blocks, etc. I've found that the classes and services offered at ZenSpace are generally cheaper than everything else in Hoboken, which is a nice perk! The owner, Kristen, is driven to provide the Hoboken community with a large selection of classes and services that improve their health and wellbeing; she is also open to feedback on scheduling and curricula to create the best experience for students. The only thing that I would like to see improved is the amount of yoga classes offered. I'd love MORE yoga classes and workshops, please!

The instructors teach really detailed but easy to follow techniques - I found Rumble to be way too complicated. They teach you fundamentals here but let you express whatever motions in a guided way so you're not thinking so hard about what to do but rather just releasing the stress. I love the floor to ceiling bags (as opposed to the hanging water ones) and the soft flooring is so comfortable. I also have to mention they clean this place multiple times per day - a dedicated crew cleaning and fixing things why it's always immaculate. I'm not sure if they officially own upstairs at 9th Street gym too but that is the best body builders gym in Hoboken. I only took a star off because the staff can be a little cold / unfriendly sometimes.

Prior to CKO Hoboken, I was a member of CKO Jersey City so I've been a long time fan of the work out you get here. It's always challening but in the best way. The trainers push you to be better and they care about your form. If you're looking for a group workout that encompasses a lot of different things, then come here. It's also helpful that the front desk employees are so kind and have a smile on their face when you walk in at 7am. When I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer's, the CKO Team was quick to help advertise my fundraiser. This place is the best, highly recommend for ALL ages and stages in your fitness journey. You're certainly welcomed here.

You can access this studio via ClassPass, and per Cait, they're actually looking to open up 1-2 more locations (for uptown locale!). I believe you can buy direct class packages as well. Not sure if they're on MINDBODY too. Things to be aware of: 1)it's a small studio, and there might be private therapeutic sessions on the two larger/more complex reformers in the back right. 2) They don't have a lot of extra space for (your) stuff, just small cubbies in the studio-one for each member (don't bring too much stuff, and try and make sure you have a smaller bag--shoes and umbrellas go outside the entrance/door) 3) they do TRX classes as well (looking forward to trying one of those)! 4) Cait hosts a running club in Hoboken (see Athleta's insta or DM her for timing-it's usually on the Bum Pilates insta stories) 5) walk, lyft or lime-parking is REALLY challenging since it's right by the path Definitely worth a try if you've done Pilates (and even if you haven't).
