Maik is one of the best and most knowledgeable trainers I've ever worked with. His no BS approach to training really saved me frustration, money, and confusion. He focuses only on science and nothing else. Forget about useless supplements! Maik is honest does not guarantee or promote things that are not physiologically possible or unhealthy - like a short 2 week crash diet transformation. His approach is to change the clients lifestyle into a healthy one, one of an athlete. I have trained about 6 weeks with Maik, and my goal has been to get to a 8-10% body fat, get very lean and angular, then build muscle for that dream beach body, chiseled look. His "get lean first" approach is excellent. Forget about bulking and getting fat for 6 months. This won't happen! Maik believes one should always look good and "keep abs" during a bulk. Bulking is no excuse for getting fat. In my 6 weeks, I started out at around 18-20% body fat. Now 6 weeks in, I am already the low teens (13%). I didn't have to crash diet, starve myself, go on a wonder diet, or live in the gym. I simply follow a diet and workout plan based on Macronutrients that Maik has designed for my body type. My diet has been "clean and healthy", but still delicious completely manageable. I spend no more than 1.5 hours in the gym each day doing weights and cardio. I am approaching my 40's and I have noticed over the last year that my body has changed and I am no longer able to lose weight using the same techniques I used in my 20's and 30's. Maik's training program is very highly recommended. I have been working out with Maik and his associate Anke for about 2 months. I have had some amazing results and not just in appearance but also the fact that i feel fitter and stronger. Maik helps with diet as well and constantly evaluates progress to see if changes to diet/workout are needed. Maik is the real deal. He is not only knowledgable and committed to your goals, he is also a down to earth, approachable guy who loves what he does. I have trained with him for over 6 months and have seen great results. Maik's programs give you the whole package including workouts, eating plans, encouragement, and care.
