I had heard good things about this company. I had an obvious crack in my garbage disposer. I told…read morethem I would buy an Insinkerator at Home Depot and they were to install it. There was the usual come out and take a look fee of $99.00. Technician comes out super nice apologizing for running late. He confirms disposer had crack/leak. Gets on phone to do invoice, and says to install owner purchased unit it'll be $501.00 + the $99.00 visit fee. $600 bucks for a 1 hour job. Over $700 including the garbage disposer. I almost pooped in my pants. How greedy are you to tack on the $99? Who does that. This is east Texas and one of the poorest areas in the state. I had just had one installed at my son's home for $200 in San Diego County, CA. I was stuck. Value? It was a ripoff. They talk politely but are clearly cutthroat. Get someone else to do it. Boo.

Mr. Ignacio Ramirez is a blessing and a wonderful person to know!…read more Our former general contractor had 3 crews attempt to do a decent drywall job in 3 rooms that we're building as part of a 40'x 20' meditation studio & store room. The work that was done prior to Ignacio Ramirez was horrendous, to say the least. Broken drywall, sloppy compound work, poor window sill construction, and an obvious lack of care was evident everywhere. My wife and I were devastated because this project means a lot to us. Mr. Ramirez showed up on time to give us an assessment and quoted us a price that day for bringing the studio to a Level 5 finish. Mr. Ramirez removed old drywall and installed new drywall to areas that could not be repaired, applied drywall compound to all surfaces, re-taped many areas that were poorly done, repaired the framing around 3 large windows, installed new corner bead to several areas, primed all surfaces, and applied a finish coat of ceiling paint to 12' ceilings. He also swept up all drywall dust and cleaned the floors before leaving the job. My wife and I are thrilled with the quality and care that Mr. Ramirez provided throughout the job. It is very evident that Mr. Ramirez takes tremendous pride in his work and it shows! Thank you, Ignacio, for turning a disaster into a gem! Start to finish about 8hrs including repairs that had to be done to weathered/rotten wood. They took care of the surrounding areas of my home and protected them with tarps. Zero damage. They cleaned up and left my roof and yard free of debris. High and Tight also provided financing options with low and no interest options.
