They came out within 24 hours and I met with Kenneth. He accessed my property, showed and explained the problems areas from the previous installer, described the details of the job and how he would fix it, and quoted me a price. He was quite pleasant and took his time and answered all of my questions and concerns in great detail. After agreeing to proceed, I received a confirmation email from the business manager/co-owner, Kim, explaining what to expect next and an invoice for payment via Paypal. Day one, I was greeted and they got straight to work. The area was measured and prepped for the new layout of the driveway extension. After seeing the process, I have a new respect for those in this industry, as there was more digging and prep work than I realized. They even unearthed (literally) large tubing of no significance that was buried in the yard - probably from when the house was originally built. They maintained positive attitudes and carried it away for disposal and continued. Day two is when I witnessed how meticulous Kenneth was in his execution of making sure that the job's outcome would be pleasing. Now, most customers may not be home when all this is typically happening, and are just ready for the work to be finished but I'm glad I saw it firsthand. The concrete was poured and smoothed out to perfection. Every edge, every line was planned out, angled down, built up, leveled off, smoothed again, then repeated... And just when I thought, "that looks good," nope. Apparently, his experienced eyes saw what mine didn't and he kept going. No exaggeration, it was like watching an artist work, going over every space to make sure it was just right. I love good customer service, and I know that is exactly what I received. Not only did the Makenosh team complete the job they were hired for, but they also helped me with a couple of unrelated items. It may not have been a big deal for them to do it, but I was glad that they did; saving me time and money down the line. I find it interesting how there isn't such a huge mess after sloshing around in concrete, but at the end of the day, I went out to find the area was cleaned and the job was completed as expected. Even the grass that was dug up was put back into place nice and neat. I highly recommend Makenosh Concrete & Construction and plan to use them in the future.
