The best service they offer in my opinion is the puppy club on Saturday mornings, an experience never forgotten for you or your dog. About 20 puppies of various sizes get together to socialize the dogs - to cut out aggression towards other dogs as they get older - so you can imagine how mad it sometimes gets and how many paper towels are used as they all get excited. They tend to split into 2 groups of larger and smaller breeds in seperate rooms and have a free play time then usually some sort of talk / discussion about dag ownership, there was also a visit by a specialist dog trainer on one of our mornings. The dogs love it, the owners love it and all the kids love it - children are encouraged to come along too and have great fun meeting all the different breeds and characters. The only downside is cost - although the puppy sessions only cost about £2 per week, on top of all the other costs of a new puppy and the encouragement to buy accesories / food from the vets it can become an expensive business

I was impressed from the moment I dropped her off as the lovely couple who run the establishment obviously have a real passion for our doggy friends. When I picked Holly up she was really pleased to see me as usual but seemed calm and contented when we got home and as one of the previous reviewers said - no doggy smell! I am just hoping Waterwheel will be able to take Holly for our future holidays!

It was not pleasant, the cats did have a nice largish space but seemed little interaction and were left to get on with it. I dropped the cat's off and if I didn't need to be elsewhere I'd have taken them home there and then. We were due back a few days early so notified the cattery to be told they were closed and not providing services for a few days (while our cats were there) we went and collected them early. We paid upfront £15 per day but finished a full 2 days early. We prefer to lose the cash than leave them there. Our two who hate the boxes ran into them when we got there ready for home. Safe now and we will never return. This happened over Christmas time, they advised us when we contacted them on Boxing day that they were not working those days while apparently looking after pets. It was a scary thought and we came back and got our cats as quickly as possible.

Whilst looking around, there were many pet care services available to choose from. We actually infact checked out 2 other services prior to using Maries pet care services but we were not impressed by the service or location of the other pet care services. When we found Marie, we checked out other reviews and decided to setup a meeting with Marie and bring along little Freddie too, to meet marie and her little bichon frise Ben. As soon as we arrived at Maries home, we were initially impressed by the location and also Maries home, she is very clean and hosts other dogs sometimes, which was great for us, as Freddie is very social! The service provided by this particular pet care service is a home from home service, so we pre-wrote Freddies daily schedule and feeding routine, so that Marie could follow this whilst we were away. She has done a fantastic job, well done Marie! See you again soon.
