Our barista was very friendly and very quick at making our drink. She asked us about specific birds and animals we may have spotted on our adventure. A VERY nice lady, might have been the owner. Blond hair, don't recall her name. They do stamp cards here BTW. Got my beverage hot, and ABSOLUTELY loved it!!! They come pre sweetened in the powder, a nice thick production. A quality oat milk and matcha powder is used here. If you don't like your matcha's sweet, then maybe get a little shy on the scoop, or do a half scoop. Mine didn't have a strong matcha flavor, but it was strongly green. It had plenty of foam to sip while the beverage cooled, and it tasted like birthday cake. But not anywhere near that sweet. So it wasn't overload, don't worry... You'll love it! It clearly had a rich, complex, light vanilla flavoring to it, with that prominent (loved it) birthday cake flavor to it. Come here, you'll love it!! Prices here are a good bit less than Bend. So drink up pardners! This is such a cute place too. I love the old wagon cloth, it's all nice and pretty and well maintained. I was blown away. I was not even offered a free coffee for wasting all of my time. Sorry but I will not be going back. I would have never had a customer stand there that long and after not being able to help them not even offer them a free coffee. Just wow!

Fortunately, they were, and we were able to get our fix and get moving quickly. I first selected their single origin espresso, a medium-ish Ethiopian washed with notes of Meyer lemon and dark chocolate, and it delivered on both. Very smooth, unmistakably Ethiopian with that distinct citrus note. For the road, I opted for their light drip of the day, which I believe was their Rwanda showcase offering, and it, too, was very nice. My preferred prep is heavy cream and Splenda, and unfortunately, neither was available (what is it with the Stevia? So many cafes offer that as their only alternative sweetener, and I think it's terrible), but I made it work. A delicious sipper. The cafe itself was clean and modern in decor, and there was a gelato shop colocated, which I'd have loved to try, but alas. Definitely a nice place to stop for some specialty coffee, recommended!

As I was checking out I was given a slice of lemon cake (which is incredibly delicious) as I sat down after pouring myself a cup of coffee I sat down in the main room and thought about how wonderful it is to be here and enjoying my coffee.
