Ended up joining up to the annual pass today as its only £7.95 per month and includes unlimited visits, priority entry, 10% discount from the cafe, four (one-off) guest passes and a refund the entry for th day you join. Considering the price without membership it is definitely worth it, it would have cost my daughter and I £15 today so it is already cost effective! Great day out for kids (especially when weather is bad) lots to keep them entertained, soft play, bumper cars, ball pit and a huge slide. The cafe offers the basics such as kids meal/small hot mealsd, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, crisps, juices, tea/coffee etc, pricey but does the job when in need. Toilets are plentiful and usually clean and tidy. Tables and chairs are set to one side so adults can relax while watching the kids, although in peak times they get filled very quickly. I'd advise you to book during holidays/weekends as it can get very busy with queues out the door. Would highly recommend for anyone with young kids.

The gardens are basin shaped with a rabbit warren of paths leading you down to the ponds where you can find duck, geese and some tame but neurotic squirrels. I really enjoy the views from higher up near the entrances; you can see over into the Shortlands area of Bromley. There's a whole load of benches dotted around the gardens and a kind of roman patio area too. This isn't really a picnic place; more of a ramble around spot. Really quaint and pretty.

They have every type of pottery you expect and all of the paints to make them gorgeous. My son has always enjoyed painting, so he started painting straight away. He loves painting with black so he started with black. I was just taking my coat off as my son painted away, then a member of staff shocked me with a very loud, impolite and patronising voice aross the table through all the other children and all my friends (it was a birthday party) : 'Excused me! You will HAVE TO pay for that separately, DO YOU know THAT?! It's NOT part of the party deal! AND if you paint with black, it WILL NOT come out very nice!' - everyone went quiet, and my son stopped painting with a shocked face. I was also shocked - nothing to do with the message she was trying to deliver, but the way she said it. I said I'm fine with whatever color my son wanted to use, and I WILL pay for it separately in the end if that's case. I wanted to say more, but I didn't want to ruin the little girl's birthday party. What made me feel very upset was that, for the rest of the party, my son never touched the color black again! After the party, my son said to me that he did not like the way the member of staff spoke to us, and it made him feel ashamed. So, I would NOT recommend Fired Up pottery painting studio (129 Queensway, Petts Wood, Kent, BR5 1DG) to anyone who wants their children to create art freely, to express their very own personality through painting, or to simply have a good time. The seats are comfy with a lot of leg room and great views from the Circle. The staff are very friendly too. Went to see Keep Dancing. It was a very entertaining night out, with special guests from Strictly Come Dancing, Lisa Riley and Robin Windsor. Good music and good dancing. I also liked that it finished at 9.30pm giving you plenty of time to get home if you have a long way to go.
