There are multiple baseball fields on site and there appears to be a lot of parking that is paved. It didn't appear to have a problem with flooding even though the creek lies just beyond a wooded area to the south of the park. I did notice a playground for smaller kids near the entrance which cleverly uses the slope of the hill to add a long and winding slide. My only negative is that it is a long distance away from the ball diamonds which make it difficult for parents who wish to watch the game and keep an eye on their kids. I didn't see any playground for larger kids to use, though I may have missed it. (The parks website don't list features.) Another well kept park in Orange County. I visited Andy Mohr Field on the campus of Indiana University Bloomington for the first time last…read morenight. IU was playing a doubleheader vs Purdue. Really impressed with the facility. Easy to access, plenty of parking (although it was a bit tight due to a men's baseball game happening at the same time) and comfortable seating. The field itself is in beautiful shape. All in all, a really nice place to take in a Big Ten softball game. I think the only downside for me was the loud music that was played during the break between the two games. I love music, but this was turned up way too loud for the size of this ballpark. It made it difficult to talk to friends sitting right next to us. Looking forward to taking in more IU Softball before the season ends, plus IU will host the Big Ten softball tournament this year, so bonus softball!

There is parking near the fields as well. There is also a single shelter and piece of playground equipment. There is also a fenced in area for basketball and a skate park. Unfortunately, the black top has become cracked and has a lot of weeds growing through it. Nobody wants to skate over weeds strips or have to dribble over them. It seems that the baseball fields have gotten the attention at the price of neglecting the other aspects. Too bad. It could be a great place to visit even without baseball tournaments. Review #2915

Unfortunately, the website doesn't list the season that the park is accessible, so I wasn't able to explore the park to see what other amenities were available. What I could see was in good condition. Note that if you are having trouble finding this park, it appears to be called Dickinson Park on Google, but I can't find any reference to that name elsewhere on the internet. There is a large marker placed at the entrance that is carved in limestone calling it Wiley Youth Park dedicated in 2000. Review #1981

The long walkway goes along the river next to the playground. The playground itself is quite big, most of it on soft mat ground. There are multiple sections, each have different activities such as slides, ladders, ramps, sliding rails. The park of was mostly clean but some areas were showing signs of aging. But overall the park is really popular among locals. Lots of kids were in park when we visited the playground with our daugher.
