Greeted by Annalisse (the owner), I was blown away by the array of clothing available - very different to anywhere else I had been. I was very excited to learn that Annalisse has her own range (in addition to current stock) of clothing and can't wait to see the new collection. It's lovely to see someone get out there and live their dream. A lovely atmosphere surrounds you as you enter this store and you could while away your time just looking through the racks (rare to find this in most commercial stores these days). Annalisse and her partner Chris, certainly make everyone feel welcome. Well done!

If you are of the more petite variety there are so many options where you can get cheaper fashion knock offs, larger girls don't have this luxury and I can see that City Chic is making a killing out of it. One of my best girlfriends shops here and when I saw the pricing I had a fit, it was like $120 for this dress that you would normally be able to get for $50. The staff are really friendly, sometimes I think that they're not being sincere but if you need sizing and all that they're very helpful. It's a nice, clean store with a range of really nice clothing items, just be prepared to pay extra.

City Chic is a fashionable clothing store which sells clothes from sizes 14 to 24. They have a wide…read morevariety of clothing ranging from casual wear, fancy dresses, jeans, night wear, you name it they got it. The prices are also very reasonable. This store is fairly and has probably only been at West Lakes for a few years. The store is really clean and has super friendly staff members who are always happy to help you with whatever you need. When you walk into the store the colour scheme makes you feel like you're in a night club, without the terribly loud music.

Endeavour at Redcliffe is a second hand store that surprisingly has a great range of retro clothes,…read moreboth men and women that the hipsters haven't got to. I went in there looking for books (which they have plenty of) and found rack upon rack of clothes from the naughties and dating back from the late fifties. My suggestion, for those youngsters who love this old style of dress, is to get on your second hand, white walled, refurbished one gear pushbike and get on out to Redcliffe before those swine who own retro retailers get there and take all the good clothes, forcing you to pay three times the actual value. Ready, set, go. For real, like now dude.

I constantly walk past you in agony knowing that I can't afford anything just yet, but one day it will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine. Why are your clothes so lovely? They never go out of style. I have had skirts and dresses passed down from grandmothers that have purchased them from Cue and they're still in fashion today. That's why everything is worth the money. Cue, you follow the latest trends but you make them so much better than everyone else that in 10 years from now I could still get away with wearing them and it would be socially acceptable. Your store is small and quaint. When you walk in you feel like you're in a movie scene, like Pretty Woman, except you're not judged on how you look. Your staff are so friendly that the last time I came in I bought a dress for my friends 21st and the lady behind the counter rang up each store to check different dresses and styles and then when we finally decided on one she even cut off the price tags! Sportsgirl used to be one of my go-to stores whenever I needed new accessories or clothes. I loved…read moreeverything they had to offer in store even though I could never afford it. To this day I still love the store but it still feels rather pricey. When they have their sales I love to take advantage and stock up on cheap jewellery and last seasons clothing items (did I just admit that I wear 'last seasons' clothing?). The jewellery, handbags and hair accessories are probably my favourite thing about Sportsgirl. The jewellery is funky and is usually reasonably priced. They have a pretty stellar collection of unique rings and other very colourful jewellery and accessories. I still love their clothes, especially since they tend to specialise in boho-chic these days which I adore, but it's unfortunately overpriced. As I previously mentioned, the sales are the best time to shop at Sportsgirl.
