Called to cancel my service last fall, they told me they had just done the last service. I called again and the person answering the phone was rude as said "it says in fine print it renews each year" I asked for a refund of the $60 and they refused, deleted my account so when I called corporate they can't find anything about me. The inspector never did find any but we found them ourselves behind the head board. The inspector that came sent us a very vague "checklist" that was supposed to outline exactly how we prepare. It took them TWO weeks to provide the service. When the technician arrived, he was immediately rude stating we didn't do everything we were told to do. I showed him the checklist provided to us and he showed his "manager". I heard her say, oh, this isn't the right list and it doesn't say they need to bag up EVERYTHING. He kept talking about how the inspector pushed everything to make her "commission" and was appalled that she never offered a mattress encasement. He acted like he was literally crazy saying he even needed to pull the carpet back. Just wild. The whole ordeal was a scam as we are still finding a couple. Definitely not the point of infestation but I feel like for the price we had paid, it should be resolved. When we told orkin about still finding them, they told us we didn't follow the prep and that they needed to charge for additional treatments. Not to mention, you can call and call this place and never get an answer. They don't care and will take every cent from you if they could. Like someone else said, go local and don't let orkin fool you.
