Called to cancel my service last fall, they told me they had just done the last service. Come home last week to see they started up again, called because I was under the impression based on my phone call last fall where the agent said "That was your last service" that it was cancelled. I called again and the person answering the phone was rude as said "it says in fine print it renews each year" I asked for a refund of the $60 and they refused, deleted my account so when I called corporate they can't find anything about me. Let me start by saying if I could rate this company lower I would. Five months of their service and my lawn looks worse than it has in its entire lifetime. I started in May with no weeds and wanted to get a jump on the summer. I got every treatment they recommended and spent over 500.00 with them. We live in a neighborhood where people take pride in their yards and ours has always been no exception. Until now. To say I am embarrassed is an understatement. No one should use this service. When we called to get our money back after repeated attempts to get them to fix the problem we were told all they would do is cancel the service and they did not guarantee results just that they would treat the yard. They completely killed our back yard. They were then very unprofessional saying we must have put something on the lawn too. Just an oops I guess you were sprayed twice two guys got the work order on the same day. Then billed us for both times. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. read more

I was told in April that my yard would only be sprayed once for pesticides. They have now come out three times in the last 6 weeks and sprayed for that. Then this week they came and sprayed Tuesday for pesticides and then Thursday for fertilizing. Now I wouldn't have a problem if i was told correctly. But what upset me, is I called to question it and the guy who answered the phone was very rude told me there was nothing they could do and I asked for a supervisor as he was extremely rude about it and he hung up on me. When i called back multiple times right after and continuously for ten minutes no one surprising answered but the minute I called from another phone they answered. But the owner was not available at the time. So I called back 4 hours later and asked for the owner Rich and he would not speak to me. He has someone else deal with the matter. I do not recommend this business to anyone. If this is how you treat customers you should not be in business. read more

Had my doubts about if the "treatment" even happened. NO results. Came back to "reapply", but again NO results. My neighbor, didn't see anything coming out of the spray container the Truegreen employee had.The "technician" was there approximately 2 minutes, we have a double property. Billing arrive &, rather than making accusations, we decided to just pay online, as was allowed, and as we had done before. The website said we were restricted from access. Called local office , asked for owner, was told, (after hearing him in the background,) that owner was not there. I relayed our information to the person who answered, the problem with trying to pay. He gave me a Customer service number. I called that number, and the same LOCAL Turegreen employee answered the phone. I called the service number again,,,and guess what the same guy answers. Our invoice only showed 6 numbers for customer id,,,however, the real Trugreen online site need 10 numbers. The local office couldn't tell me why that was the case. This is what led us to believe that something is not right with this group. Never use TruGreen. They caused our lawn to turn yellow by burning it out with their spray application. Their only response was, "sorry". Then they tried spraying a second time in a high gusty windy day. I assume their ten minute training a certification video didn't teach the applicator how to read the mixing and application directions. read more
