I recently went to tire mart to get a used tire but after awhile I noticed that the guy was over…read morethere struggling with the lug nut so I asked him was everything ok....he told me that he usally doesn't do this kind of work and that he repos houses so im thinking to myself what is he doing putting the tire on then.... anyways he stripped my lug nut and then the other guy came over and tried to get it on but couldn't.... after this the guy told me that who ever put it on last stripped it....lets stop there they must have thought that I was an idiot because how did they get it back on in the first place....after that he advise me to go to auto zone to get another lug nut for 5 bucks......that they stripped.... and on top of that 2 weeks later the tire has a slow leak......WOW....are you serious....DO NOT go there.....take your money and go somewhere else unless you get a flat right in front of there business and have to go there...... It was usually a 50/50 chance of: a) actually fixing the problem, and b) getting it done for a fair price. I have purchased several pieces of equipment from Stananco. Each and every time, no matter who helped me (usually Stan himself), I was given their full, undivided attention. All questions (some pretty dumb) were answered fully, respectfully and with a smile. Zero pressure to buy--- alternatives were always presented, some more expensive, some less. Prices for their equipment are probably the usual prices you would find at other decent shops. However, I have had all of the equipment serviced by them, and they have always done a fantastic job, for very fair prices, sometimes with a little 'extra' thrown in unexpectedly. They are fast, and keep you informed. No issues, no drama, no stories. All of their staff are professional and friendly. I would recommend them to all of my family and friends without hesitation.

I arrived before 8am and by 5pm they provided the excuse that they didn't have time to even look at it. Why in the world would you advise the customer to schedule the service, plead to give the shop 2 weeks to honor the commitment and then NOT honor it at all and provide no real reason out side of BAD MANAGEMENT. If you cannot honor a scheduled service then why would anyone allow you to work on their vehicle. Great opportunity to open another auto shop in Jackson, HUGE demand.

The car I'd rented for my road trip was making a scraping sound so I exited here to call Hertz. Hubs quickly determined that a plastic panel covering the undercarriage of the car had come loose. While on the phone with Hertz, and in Southern Commercial Tire's parking lot, one of the mechanics offered to put the car on a lift and attempt to secure the loose panel. In less than 10 minutes, we were on our way with a quick fix using zip ties. AND, Southern Commercial Tire did not charge us a penny... if they treat random travelers this well, I would expect that they treat their customers even better!

I called Scott on Friday & he repaired my van Tuesday morning. I asked for repairs like he was repairing his own vehicle. I was back using my van by 5pm Tuesday. What a great job they did on my rear brakes! They told me I could probably get 35K before needing front brakes. To tell you the truth I'm glad the dealer told me to use Scott's for my brake repairs.
