He patiently answered all of my queries and concerns. Plus it's definitely a kids friendly store as my sons took turns in testing and playing with the iPhone test model with no reservations from the staff. My kids spotted a shelf filled with preloved Xbox games which were going for a song. If you're after sound systems and players, they stock Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony and others here. Conveniently located on South Road, this is a great place to come and browse all the latest gadgets and techs.

Their ridiculous automated phone system invites you to [Press 1] for technical support. As a naive consumer who dropped off a faulty unit I thought that seemed a reasonable option...FAIL...after pressing one you are greeted with " we do not offer technical support, please contact Apple directly". [why ask the bl**dy question then] So back to the automated call options and [Press 3] for general enquiries....to be cut off. Try again...cut off. Try a 3rd time....cut off. Finally I had to make a special trip and drive to their store in Glenunga to discover my 10yr old son's iPod has been sitting in a plastic envelope for the past 7 weeks and so now finally having parted with some more cash the indications are that it will be sent back to Apple for a replacement. It shouldn't be this hard in an economic environment where retailers are complaining about weak consumer spending. On this occasion I am only spending a couple of hundred dollars on a replacement iPod but I am in the market for a new iMac. I wonder where I'll choose to spend my $2,000?

I purchased an expensive set of headphones:- * Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear cost $400.99 Purchase date was 8 May 2022. Today is 22 October 2022. The headphones suddenly stopped connecting via Bluetooth. I tried all the troubleshooting advice online and received an email stating that I should visit my nearest store for a replacement or refund. Hence - I went to West Lakes. The manager Jordan was called because I wanted a replacement. He checked the headphones himself and they wouldn't connect. Jordan stated that they needed to be sent off to Sony (manufacturer) to be checked. I stated this was unacceptable - they had a major fault (didn't work) and I am entitled to a refund or replacement under consumer law. ACCC states: "Businesses can't take away a consumer's right to a refund or replacement for faulty products or services. It's illegal for businesses to rely on store policies or terms and conditions which deny these rights." Jordan refused to refund or replace. He relied upon 'store policy' and denied my rights. Jordan was happy for his photo to be taken - a kind gesture. I advised that I would be giving the store a bad review. Jordan was okay with this. Photo evidence is included. Jordan could have just replaced the headphones. They had a spare set. Poor show - breach of consumer law JB Hi-Fi. Photos included are evidence. I reserve all rights and will be taking this matter further with JB Hi-Fi. But honestly... Just avoid this store - go somewhere else.

Plenty of staff, plenty of customers, loud music, huge discounts and security guards (who happen to know me very well by now). The store is pretty brilliant. I've purchased computers and cameras from here with no problems whatsoever. The staff are happy to help and actually know what they're talking about. Of course my favourite thing about JB is the music and DVD section. Oh TV box sets, you are the reason I never have any money. The range is pretty incredible. A huge stock of Disney DVDs, classics, live concerts, action, romance, comedy, musicals, they really have it all! 9 out of 10 times that you're in search of a movie or music cd, JB will have it. If on the odd chance they don't have it, they are more than happy to order it in for you. The only thing I wish I could change about JB Hi-Fi is to make sure they allow a lay-by system. It sucks when the store has 20% off everything but you can't afford it. Especially at Christmas time. A lay-by system would come in handy that's for sure!

Like Justin, but maybe not as much as him, I like to perform. So I make sure to keep up my appearances by watching music videos at every spare moment I have - observing what unnecessary luxurious clothing the rap stars or artists are wearing. The shop attendant approached me within seconds of entering the store and kindly took me upstairs where all the best clothes are. She spent an entire hour with me dressing me from head to toe, and made sure I left the store fully educated about what clothes to wear next time. Not only that, but we talked about how well she's doing in University and that she is only a few months away from finally becoming a Lawyer, and how sad she was going to be when she leaves retail. That emotion in itself deserves five stars. I've never heard anyone feel that way about retail the way she did. She did an amazing job of giving me an extreme makeover, and turned me from casual skater boy to a very stylish Business manager who looks like he has way too much money to spend. I will never forget this store experience. When I put on these clothes I allow myself to dream about becoming Australia's Next Top Male Model on the biggest Sydney fashion catwalk, or getting ready to enter a courtroom as a corporate lawyer, or having a drink at a posh cocktail lounge. There's always the cheaper option. If I need a new shirt or pants, I just need to go downstairs for the casual street wear - this store is full of good selections and you can sense that the upper management who selected these clothes have great taste!! I've never seen a men's store whose clothes all seem to be in sync with one another. So cool. You'll pay a lot of money for an entire outfit, but the quality of your appearance in the mirror is absolutely "sheek, trendy and stylish". Everything you wear will be slim fit and brings out the best features of the male body, including my rear end, but trust me, the ladies will love you for it. You will notice that there are some unique designs on the suit jacket that really goes well with the other parts of the outfit. The colours purple, black and grey seem to be so compatible with each other. I was going to give this store four stars, but I'm sorry but the service I received from the shop assistant was one of the best I've ever experienced in Adelaide. The only downside to this store is that it can get expensive if you buy more than a few items. Due to my lack of funds, I really can't afford that much in here. My dreams of becoming the next Usher are sadly on hold for the moment.... but I love how you're open on Sundays! :) But what a better excuse to go hit the bars next weekend, than all of my new expensive businesswear?!?

There were two staff working one of which had a laptop running through an update with the client, and was mostly messing about with a screen saver on an iPhone. I had waited 15 minutes and tried to ask if they had any pencils, and was shut down and told that he was busy and should wait my turn. Really disappointed if he had just said yes we have some in stock but I needed to wait that would have been fine, but to be shut me down before I could ask was disappointing and rude. I eventually left and ended up buying from Officeworks. Will never go back to that shop again.

I've long been a PC person, and my experiences with operating a Mac frustrated the shit out of me. But for a long time I'd been hearing of Mac's stellar customer support, and I needed to see it to believe it. The customer service provided by the people at the Mac Centre alone has swayed me in the direction of Apple products. I'm sure anyone with a PC that has been prompted to send an error report to Microsoft has long given up on any prospect of getting decent solutions. Mac, on the other hand, really cares about their customers (despite screwing them over with yearly releases of updated products and OSs); and this becomes even more evident when you're receiving help face-to-face. My girlfriend was having issues updating her iPod and failed to find any solution online. We decided to head into the Mac Centre, and shortly after explaining the problem to the people behind the desk, they told her to leave the iPod with them and return in 15 minutes. When we returned to the store, the problem had been solved and the iPod was as good as new. They didn't request any sort of payment, and were extremely polite and helpful. This is the kind of customer support that other electronics companies should be taking lessons from!
