There was plenty of parking, I am not sure how it would be earlier during the day but it was great parking around the time that we went. As we were walking up there was a staff member there letting down the flag and she asked us how she could help us she was really nice. We noticed that they had an outdoor basketball court so we used them restroom and went straight there. The bathrooms were clean too. Which was great for small children who love to touch things. The park was really nice but we were only there for basketball court which was cool. One of the goals had a glass missing which was okay but for someone who likes to make all of their shots it was an inconvenience. But the park overall was clean and really nice. Overall it's one of the nice parks in Raleigh and we would love to go back.

We frequent the center for the city of Raleigh's Girls basketball league practices. The gym here is beautiful and the facility is immaculately clean. The desk staff is pleasant and welcoming. There is a historical carousel that I am in love with here. It's a beautiful touch if you're having an event. This center features a plethora of options to throw an event for a rental cost. They offer a reception hall, studio, carousel house, 2 multi purpose rooms, the gymnasium, and fields. The center offers a beautiful view of the city skyline at night. The park on the property is gorgeous and has a wonderful playground as well as walking trails.

This will be my second year volunteering alongside some of the City of Morrisville committee members and leaders. I've enjoyed being able to show up and volunteer which allows me to learn from others, and give back to the community and the most rewarding is seeing the evolution of the community event I consistently volunteer to assist. Overall, Cedar Fork Community Center seems to be a great community center. The building is nicely maintained, clean, and comfortable. So, Tuesday (a day off), I had been puttering around the house and finally decided to have a late lunch, when my phone buzzes. "I'm going to play pickleball." "Where?" "Walltown" "Are they playing there tonight? It's not listed on the DP&R website" "probably cause it's not permanent?" So, ten minutes later I'm on Club Blvd, just east of Broad Street. I parked in one of the lots, walked in and waved to my friend in the gym. They had the nets up, and one other person was there. I checked in and paid the nice lady at the desk $3 (I'm a Senior and a Durham resident), she strapped a wristband on me, and we spent the next hour swatting whiffle balls in air-conditioned comfort, rather than out in the heat, swatting bugs and fighting to breathe. The facility hosts a lot of different events for folks of all ages, judging by the flyers all over. There is a track around the gym upstairs, as well as weights and machines that were being very sparsely used on a weeknight. It was all very clean, well maintained, and the folks everywhere were friendly. As we left, we were reading the bulletin boards in the hallway about the history of the area and the facility. We peeked into a game room and asked the group of maybe 30 folks what card game they were playing. "Pinochle!" came the answer from half a dozen folks. Glad to know there are places like this near my home. I need to check out more of what the Parks & Rec folks are doing.

My husband and I were riding downtown when we came across Halifax Community Center and to our…read moresurprise it was our first time seeing it. So we said that we would go back. Fast forward to couple days afterwards. My son and I were downtown and he wanted to play basketball and I needed to get some work done. So I called around to a few community centers and the guy that was at the front desk at HCC told us to come on by so we did. When I arrived the parking lot was empty so there was plenty of parking and the parking lot was clean. I was impressed with the outdoor playing space because of the funky goals. The building is really nice too and it looks practically brand new. When I walked in I was greeted by the guy at the front desk. He was sooo nice and very welcoming. He told us that he would let the goal down for my son and he did. The basketball court was really nice and the gym is big but it doesn't have a lot of sitting so I am assuming games aren't held there. They also have a workout room and the bathrooms are clean. I walked around looking for the bathroom and I saw where there was a party room which I thought was cool. Overall great community center, clean and the guy that was there was AMAZING!

Gunner loves going on the bus. As soon as the bus turns on the street he gets so excited. I love that they take the pups to parks/hikes/lakes etc. These are things I do with my dog and happy he has a dog care that does the same. Gunner comes home exhausted and happy. His friends have even joined in on the fun. We are so happy Baden started the Pup Park Shuttle and look forward to all the adventures each week. Give them a try, your pup won't be disappointed.
