I came specifically to shop for DVDs and found several at a really good deal! They were 50¢ a piece…read morewith an additional 20% off for a deal they're running right now. Please note that series are not 50¢, they're $2 each. Blu-Ray discs are $3 each. I didn't talk to any employees except for the man who rang me up. He was polite and efficient, if a bit quiet. Nothing to complain about! The only reason I'm taking off a star is because some of the cases I looked through were FILTHY. One looked like it had some kind of vomit or excrement on it. That's not an exaggeration. I believe that if you're going to be selling a product, you need to make sure the product isn't absolutely disgusting before putting it on the shelf. 4 stars, though. I'll probably be back (maybe with gloves this time) to look for more movies!

So I thought about it for a couple days hoping I would calm down a bit, So I could think hard about…read morewhat happened bc even hours later family members later told me they were literally about to run and find a doc due to just how freaking red my face was. **^*^ I wasn't about to run to X just to put the blame on someone else who is clueless as to this Could I give negative stars?? Well to be honest I really had to wrestle with this. A couple weeks back I went in to get an item I had on short term loan. I only had it in for a month or 2 at the most. It was a new unused Trijicon MRO Red dot optic for my rifle. Retail prices have gone up even over what I paid for it in the last 6 months. I believe I paid just under $500. I'd have to check the receipt. My loan on the thing was only $100 or so, again I'd have to double check but that was the approximate amount. I went to buy it back out and I started to worry bc they couldn't find the item in the system, or in back. Turns out they come back and try to tell me that I sold the item to them and I didn't get it on loan!! (Which I had the receipt for the pawn) Immediately my stomach sunk and I started to get so upset I was literally shaking. I explained no, I absolutely did not sell anything and never have, and they Needed to find it and get it back! If not that the only right thing to do would be to buy me a brand new one or even a used one which would still have sucked and not been the right thing to do, but I might have considered that. They keep acting as if this was my fault. I asked them to tell me in the system how many items have I sold them anything? How many have I pawned? None. I sold NONe! Only loans for decades!! I was a great customer and I have spent so much money in that place over the years buying from them. After leaving me out front for what seemed like way too long they came out and said they were sorry and they sold it!!! Wtf!!!!??? I was so upset. Considering it was a gift from my father. The last one. He ended up giving me like $170 which they claim was what they sold the item for and told me that was the best they could do. I had no choice but to take the unfair joke of an amount. You can't find that optic and model new for under $450. Every MRO HD I've seen is $500 and up. I've seen them at $600 plus. Ever since this happened it's just been nagging me, and I've been so sick about it. I feel like I was wronged, lied to, and cheated out of my $500 plus after taxes Trijicon optic! Since this instance I've asked other local pawn shops what they thought and what they would do if they had made that mistake. Every single one told me they would have had overnighted a brand new optic straight from Trijicon if need be to make the situation right. If they couldn't do that they'd also offer $500 whatever the cost was new in store credit. They said they'd give me that option at least. They asked if they had done that would I ever consider doing business there or referring them again to my buddies and family? Which I do and I would. I am big on honesty and loyalty. If a company does right by me I do right by them. But in this case Olathe Tradihg Post and Pawn fucked me. They wronged me and did NOT fix it. They just insulted me more. Anyways, sorry for the long rant but I had to just get this out there bc I would hate to have the same thing happen to anyone else. God forbid they did that with someone's wedding or engagement or class rings, something that couldn't ever be replaced. To me bc of who gave it to me and the circumstances around it, that was like a class ring to me. Hell I hadn't even had the chance to use it given my financial circumstances at the time from losing my job. The whole reason I went there for help. I didn't get any help. I feel like they literally stole from me. Anyways, now I gotta find a new shop to buy from and recommend to family and friends. Also, we were able to speak with quite a few new homeowners living here lifelong.

Don't lose a pawn there. They won't do business with you when you do. I thought the point of a pawn…read moreshop was if you lose it they get to sell your item for more than they gave you. Apparently not here. You're barred from doing business with them.

Integrity Gun and Pawn used to be where I tried to buy any of my guns and direct friends to as…read morewell. It's difficult as a female to not wind up with individuals behind the gun counter at any gun store who think I'm some sort of inexperienced female who can't make the right choice when it comes to buying a gun. It gets annoying fast, but Integrity has, up until yesterday, provided the best experiences in Topeka thus far. Last night changed my mind. My fiancé tragically passed away earlier this year in Colorado. He was on a lake at the time and when the police found his vehicle, his pistol was inside. Law enforcement needed a FFL in Kansas to send the pistol to so I gave them Integrity's info. It's been many months now and it's been a slog dealing with Colorado law enforcement on other things, so knowing I needed to check on where the pistol was at, I wanted to rule out that it had made it to Integrity before going back to the police on the matter. When I walked in to ask simply if the gun had arrived there, just to rule it out before engaging law enforcement, you would have thought by the way the man behind the counter looked at me and spoke to me that I was the scum of the earth and a complete idiot for asking. Never mind that it's an incredibly difficult thing to bring up with a stranger that I'm dealing with the affairs of my fiancé who passed away and I also wanted to be quiet about it so as not to make other customers uncomfortable. As he spoke to me with attitude, I wanted to break down and cry in the store because everything the past six months has been difficult and he was only piling on to the difficult things I was dealing with. I went to the store first so that I could go back to the Colorado police and say that the gun hadn't arrived and I had checked. From the very start of trying to explain what I was doing, the man behind the counter looked at me like I was an alien and spoke to me with the attitude of a high school girl telling her mother she was wrong about something. When he FINALLY asked for my name to check on whether the gun had arrived, he also carried on for like the 8th time about how I should have received a call. I walked out at that point before I started screaming that I knew that, he had told me already about 8, if not more, times, never accepting when I said I know, I just wanted to check. I don't know why anyone needed to treat me like an idiot for coming in and simply confirming, before going to law enforcement to discuss it, that the gun hadn't arrived. I don't look forward to having to go back to Integrity at some point to pick up my late fiancé's gun when it does arrive, and I will be taking all my other business elsewhere from now on. Unless you're okay being treated like dirt, don't do business here.
