We took it back less than 20 hours later in the original package with the receipt and were told they cannot take it back due to they purchase them from a 3rd party vendor and they will not get reimbursed from their supplier, so no exchange would be granted. This not a huge dollar purchase ($18) but if you sell a product you should stand behind what you sell. Always thought Smoking Joe's was a upstanding business, I guess I was wrong. Participants-My wife and I in our truck camper F350, one other cargo van getting fuel, and the fuel attendant. Scenario-We pull into the yard and to the closest pump to our driveway entrance which positions us facing west. We notice the credit card reader is covered and supposedly inoperative. We pull out of the fuel bay and and head north where there are two other fleet fuel pumps set up for semis but we realize they only take fleet cards not credit cards so we continue to circle around and pull into the pump next to the same unit as the cargo van. This puts us still facing west (the van was facing east). The attendant standing at the van walks around the pump to address us: Attendant: Before you get out of the vehicle, you should know we take cash, credit cards and debit cards, but the direction of traffic for the fuel pumps is to face East, so you will need to move. Us: (looking around the huge empty yard) Oh...ok. That's kind of odd since is there is no signs directing traffic flow and no other traffic. May we ask why? Attendant: It's the law. Us: The law? There's no signs and no traffic. That doesn't seem right. Attendant: Why is it wrong to murder someone. You can't kill someone. I have 6 kids and they ask me why and I tell them "because if F-ing said so". Us: Well that just seems a little excessive for an example. Attendant: That's just the way it is.
