So the first time we were here, the album cover paintings stood out to us. Of course I know all of them and love many of them but per usual, anywhere that features artwork for King of Pop Michael Jackson is immediately good in my book! I started with a Mocha Martini, which is basically adult chocolate milk and I am totally OK with that. For lunch, I ordered their Big 1/2 Burger w/ Fries because it's been a while since I've had a burger. The offer toppings but I'm a plain burger person, thus the photo with only cheese. It's a really solid burger with a great brioche bun. The fries were seasoned well but not super crispy so I didn't eat a lot of them. My wife ordered the BLT which should come as a shock to no one. I'm reasonably that anyone could look at the photo of the BLT and not need to read a review. She loved it. Her only mild critique was that she thought there was a bit too much tomato, but that's easy enough to dispense with so no biggie. I'm glad we ate here this time.

It's a blast from the past right when you walk into the lobby area. No alcohol is served here, but off to the right-hand corner once you're inside is a small refreshments stand for patrons. This space has tons of potential as Gideon D. mentions in his review. However, I'm still glad that this space is being used for musicians and artist no matter what the genre.

I only saw two bouncers, and they stayed by the door, so the crowd had to police itself. Anyway I had a good time and would come for another event. There are other bars and restaurants on the same block, so you have options before and after the event you came here for.

If your seat is located at a higher floor you will have to walk multiple stairs and there aren't any elevator to my knowledge so it was a bit of a hike. There are restrooms located all over and on various floors so no need to wait in the front long lines to use the restroom. Also, there are a ton of areas selling liquor and there are other bars throughout so no need to wait the long lines to get a drink at the bar up at the front entrance. I am someone that runs hot and it was a bit warm for me so possibly dress light or breathable cotton.

We've been there when it was just us, we've been there when it was a raging DJ party and we've been there when a Jags game is on. For me, every experience is based on setting your expectations. I'm an old man now and I've been in all of this situations one million times previously. So I don't go into a raging DJ situation ready to get my phone out and start writing a review to state "the music was just too darn loud!". I also don't go there during a Jags game just to write a review that says "I had to wait a long time for a drink....can you even believe it??". Was the music loud? Yep. Was the wait really long during the Jags game? You better believe it. We went in expecting those things though because that's how the real world works. The drinks are great. The bar is nice, the staff is cool and you can't beat the views. Sounds like a good deal to me.
