The salon was full and I finally asked one of the girls at 11:20 if I would be taken soon. They eventually sat me in one of the chairs where I waited for another 10 minutes and then the owner came over and quickly started filing off my acrylic. When my nail technician finally came over, she was making comments about having money and asking me very weird questions. When they got finished doing my toes, they moved me to another station. When I selected the color I wanted she went to get it and started painting my nails. I wasn't paying too much attention to the color as I was chatting with one of the moms next to me. When I look down at my hands, I noticed a completely different color and asked the girl what happened to the color I selected in which she replied she didn't like that color so she picked another one. When I asked her to please paint my nails, the color I selected she got irritated, quickly started filing the color off and pushed my hands down and told me to go wash. The salon was filthy, everything was old and on top of that, they ended up charging me more than the price I was told. I found out a girlfriend of mine had a similar experience with her daughter there. This place is a disaster and would recommend never going there for your nails.

The unpleasant surprise came when she was getting ready to apply nail polish, but some of my nails were not cut properly to the point that it would've made a whole in socks. I politely asked to address it when I noticed that the rest of the nails were hardly cleaned and cuticles still there. I asked if she is planning on cleaning the nails and remove the cuticles properly. The answer was no as I selected the express service which means 20 minutes. I attached the description of the express service- nowhere it says 20 minutes or the fact that job will be half way done. I questioned the price to value ration since $40 for 20 min means $120/hour and I know college graduates and nurses who don't make $120/h. When I checked out, I was told that if I pay with card is $4 more. This is another way to make money as the card fee is 3% for in person charge which is $1.2. I paid cash, but have not received a receipt. The disappointment was doubled when I learned that she was the owner of the nail salon.

I have consistently returned because of the great service she provides. Unfortunately, I will no longer be patronizing this salon due to the unprofessional conduct of the management. During a scheduled appointment this past Monday, my regular technician --who was available and ready to perform my pedicure--said "hello" and waved me over. However, she was suddenly reassigned to another customer (the man of a couple who also had an appointment). When I politely suggested that the technicians simply swap to accommodate our preferences, the manager began pointing and yelling at me, stating, "No, no, no. I assign and no ask--no ask." The nail tech even went quietly over to the manager to quietly try to resolve the situation and only got yelled at by the manager for the whole salon to see. I will guarantee the man didn't care who did his pedicure that night. Following this outburst, I was left sitting alone and ignored for 10 minutes before I ultimately decided to walk out. When I called the following day to address the incident and to speak with the manager to find out who did all the yelling, the manager refused to provide her own name and remained completely uncooperative. At the time of the incident, I didn't realize it was the manager who was yelling and creating the scene. A nail salon should be a place to relax and unwind, not a place to be yelled at or treated like dirt. It is incredibly disappointing that a simple, logical request was turned into a public scene by leadership. As long as this manager remains in charge, I cannot recommend this establishment and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Also I picked a polish that didn't show up too well and we made sure I was on the same page for what I wanted. You can tell they want to give you a quality pedi! I wasn't even the one bringing it up either so I appreciated that. Easy payment and I was on my way out in 1.25 hours. I wanted that attention to detail and care so I was happy! if you're in a rush I am sure they can meet your expectations. There are plenty of options and enhancements to turn your pedicure into a complete spa experience for your feet, but I really appreciate never feeling pushed to choose a specific upgrade--just whatever feels right that day. Whether it's gel or dip powder, my manicures typically last ~4 weeks, and my pedicures almost always last 5-6 weeks before looking like they need a touch-up. Excellent value.
