This one guy came up to me and said hello and I thought he was hitting on me (or maybe I just have an overblown ego) and so I awkwardly said hi. He then went over to man the cash register. This guy was in a sweatshirt and jeans. I guess I was supposed to tell he was an employee from the nametag dangling out of his pocket? Overall, the store has okay prices, but honestly they aren't amazing low to the point where you can give up the quality of the product as well. --- Also, JB Hi-Fi has several branches, all in a row but selling different things (with some overlap). Their store is one of the largest ones I've seen with a decent variety of products. What I like most is they will price match, they leave you to browse on your own, but there is always someone nearby when you do need help and they're pretty friendly. If you pay cash or EFTPOS, they'll give you an even further discount. Always a plus! The only downside are their trading hours. They're only open until 5:30 PM Mon-Thurs and 5 PM on weekends, so we have to wait until the weekend or Friday when they're open until 9 PM. Would recommend.

After sales service was great too, I tried to set up a headset with the new TV and it proved challenging. He didn't have to do it but Elias continued to problem solve with me. TV headset all sorted now due to this work. Will go there again for anything else I need - great service and the biggest variety of household needs you could need.

This place is a decently large store. I'm really not a massive fan of Harvey Norman for electronic stuff, but occasionally you get a good deal. Usually not, particularly with computer stuff. The laptops and netbooks usually aren't too badly priced. The good thing about this place is the service. The staff tend to know their stuff, they're always offering to help customers, and usually you don't have to wait long before being served. I've brought stuff back for warranty fix ups, too, and I've been relatively pleased with the service I have received under those circumstances. I'll probably go back.

I recently purchased a new TV from JB Hifi from this store. The person that served my offered my a…read moresmall discount off my purchase (even though I did not ask for it which was cool). Unfortunately I could not fit the TV into my car so I had to organise for a home delivery. The warehouse person that I spoke to said that I could get delivery of my TV as early as Tuesday after my purchase on Saturday which I thought was quite good. The transport company that was engaged on behalf JB contacted me on Monday to arrange for a delivery date of Wednesday between 8 and 10am. On Wednesday I waited until 10:20am. Realising that my delivery was not coming I contacted JB and was given the contact details for Toll Fast. I then contacted them and asked for an ETA. I was told at this point that the computer system was down but they would follow up for me again. After waiting 20 minutes I called back to Toll Fast and it was explained to me at that point that my delivery had been scheduled between 9am and midday (as opposed to 8am and 10am). This would have been fine, except I had taken work off to wait for the delivery. I then contacted JB Hifi at 11:20 to pass on feedback on my customer experience where I was told that the Store Manager was busy and that they would call me back. 20 mins later after still no phone call I called the store again and was put immediately through to the store manager (in my opinion she had probably forgotten). She then promised that she would be in contact with the Transport company to get an update. After hearing nothing back by 12:05 I contacted the transport company for an update. The person on the end of the phone explained that she had just been on the phone with jb hifi and suggested that I call them. When I asked if she could just tell me the information rather than me call someone else she said no and hung up on me. After speaking with the Store Manager at JB Hifi after then it was explained to me that my delivery had been put on priority but they still could not provide me with an update. It was then clarified to me that the manager at this store was a floor manager not a store manager. I then asked for compensation in respect to my inconvenience and I was told that my request was unreasonable and the best that they could do was to "sort me out" the next time I was in store. What does this equate to from losing a days work is not clear to me. It is now 12:54pm I have no idea where my TV is and I am understandably irritated after waiting more than half a day waiting for something that might come. Such a lack of customer empathy here, I seriously wouldn't bother.

A few of my friends go here, check out what's just been released, then buy it online for a bit of a saving, but this is one case where I don't mind spending the extra buck or two to have a good shopping experience. I've been given plenty of good advice by the staff here over the years, and I'll keep going back just because of this. Don't be discouraged if you see a big line at the checkout. It moves fast. The store itself is pretty big, and stocks all your DVDs, CDs, electrical goods and everything else you'd expect in a JB. This place is also handy as it's located right near the cinemas so it's a great way to fill in time when waiting for a movie.

Here you will find everything from 1950s mirrors to big, boofy prom dresses to Ken Done place mats and coasters. The Lost and Found Market has everything. I go at least once a month to see what is new (they have rotating stalls) even when I am not looking for anything specific. While I admire their furniture the most (think stunning 70s Danish furniture) it is not something I believe I will ever be able to afford *sobs* but damn is it nice to look at. While they do have an extensive clothing section, I personally believe the Lost and Found Market excels more in the bric-a-brac and glassware areas. If you're looking to pimp your home bar, this is the place to be. They are only open on Saturdays and Sundays but the huge warehouse style means there's always something to find. You could honestly spend a good hour in here.

There is nothing miserable about this bona fide Brunswick vintage Mecca. For Lost & Found Market is one of the most lovable vintage stores in Melbourne, stocking an incredible range of vintage clothes, shoes, accessories, furniture, lighting and art from a characterful shop on Brunswick East's Lygon Street. I've only just discovered Lost & Found Market but it is already my favourite Melbourne vintage shop. And with good reason. Firstly, prices. I don't want to say this for fear of tempting fate - or price increases - but Lost & Found is literally bargainous. Secondly, selection. I've noticed a worrying trend for Melbourne's vintage shops to only really stock clothes from the disco and power suit eras to the detriment of the wardrobes of us Art Deco, fifties and sixties loving gals. Not Lost & Found. I walked away from Lost & Found Market with a ditty little sixties lace cocktail dress for a mere $55 and will no doubt return soon to look for more treasure.
