Service: The employees were kind and helpful, but it's also a bit confusing because they don't have a set uniform. This one guy came up to me and said hello and I thought he was hitting on me (or maybe I just have an overblown ego) and so I awkwardly said hi. He then went over to man the cash register. This guy was in a sweatshirt and jeans. I guess I was supposed to tell he was an employee from the nametag dangling out of his pocket? Overall, the store has okay prices, but honestly they aren't amazing low to the point where you can give up the quality of the product as well. --- Also, JB Hi-Fi has several branches, all in a row but selling different things (with some overlap). Why can't you just combine it into one super-store, especially when they're all next to each other?

Their store is one of the largest ones I've seen with a decent variety of products. What I like most is they will price match, they leave you to browse on your own, but there is always someone nearby when you do need help and they're pretty friendly. If you pay cash or EFTPOS, they'll give you an even further discount. Always a plus! The only downside are their trading hours. They're only open until 5:30 PM Mon-Thurs and 5 PM on weekends, so we have to wait until the weekend or Friday when they're open until 9 PM. Would recommend.

this is just one of the best jb's around. it happens to be…read moresomewhat near my parents' house so i get to visit & enjoy it often. it is well organised.. & the staff are ace. all nice in their own way & totally know what they are doing. they even seem to enjoy their jobs as opposed to the apathetic faces i have seen at other stores. there is a guy in music who should be on 'spicks & specks'.. {http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spicks_and_Specks_(TV_series)} quite seriously! anyway.... somehow i often find myself peacefully wandering as if it were the beautiful state library in the city.. perhaps it is the fact that there are high ceilings.... & the fact that the lights aren't super super bright hurting your brain. it is calming & spacious & all is organised well. plus the store never really gets insanely busy. so.. i continue to wander.. & buy CDs & DVDs & way too many of both.. anyway.. good things from this chain of stores obviously.. so if you are ever near this one.. pop in & walk around as it the most relaxing of all i have visited. caution: over-spending is easy!

I've used this place to help me on my hunt for dryers, vaccuums, fridges, and pretty much everything else. I've had a look at air conditioners, heaters, you name it. But, I really haven't bought that much stuff here. The occasional small item like a milkshake maker and the like. When I've done so, the service has been good enough, but not amazing. That 's not to say I've had a bad experience, just pointing out that it's pretty normal retail service. Bottom line is that it's an alright store.
