Wow, simply WOW!!! Could not be happier with our kitchen and bathroom remodel done by the…read moreincomparable AGC crew! Their attention to detail, unbeatable work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction have our house looking better than ever. The Project Management executed by Elizabeth was perfection. She was attentive, communicative, professional, and a joy to be around! It is clear that she and everyone we worked with at AGC takes tremendous pride in their work. We will absolutely be using them again for our 2nd bathroom remodel, flooring redo, and potential garage conversion as I couldn't imagine working with any other team. Before deciding to go with AGC, we contacted 4 different companies to get bids. AGC far outshined the other options based on customer service and clarity of vision. Though not the cheapest or fastest option, Geoff from AGC was honest and reasonable and won our bid. The reno process consisted of a design portion, budget reviews, scope revisions (as we requested), and a clearly articulated final budget helped us to feel fully aware of all necessary aspects of our project, and made the end result that much sweeter as we didn't have too many unexpected changes. Can't speak highly enough of this crew. Thank you again for all of your work!

They came out, took a look, got us a clear bid quickly, and were conscientious about social distancing. Our tech texted us photos and a report of what was completed. The whole thing was pretty seamless and we'll definitely be looking to ACS in the future.

This was by far the worst contractor experience I've had…read more I hired Rick to remodel our closet with bifold doors. During the initial consultation, he agreed the design was feasible and promised the project would be completed in 3-4 days. Five days into the project, he suddenly claimed the bifold doors were not possible and proposed changing the entire design to cabinet-style doors instead. This should have been identified before demolition began, not after work was already underway. From that point on, I was repeatedly told, "We'll finish tomorrow." That promise was made day after day for 19 days. Eventually, after nearly three weeks of delays and little meaningful progress, I asked them to stop work and remove their tools. I then had three independent contractors inspect the work. Two of them told me it was among the poorest closet workmanship they had seen. The issues included: * Panels cut to incorrect dimensions * Cabinet pieces shaped incorrectly * Poor fit and alignment * Work that would cost more to demolish and rebuild than to complete properly In the end, I paid for a project that accomplished virtually nothing except leaving me with demolition and additional repair costs. The worksite was also poorly managed. Although I was promised a clean work environment, they created excessive dust throughout the room and garage and rarely covered furniture or flooring unless I specifically asked. At the end of each day, I was often left cleaning after them myself. Safety was another serious concern. My toddler found a loose nail in the hallway during the project. Thankfully we noticed it before anything happened, but leaving sharp construction debris where young children are present is completely unacceptable. As the project progressed, work slowed dramatically. Some days they only worked a couple of hours, and there were 4-5 days where no one showed up at all without meaningful communication. To make matters worse, after all of the delays and poor workmanship, I was asked to purchase my own cabinet handles to save them roughly $30. The biggest disappointment wasn't just the quality of the work--it was the constant broken promises. If the project had been honestly scoped from the beginning, I could have chosen another contractor before losing nearly three weeks of time. I have extensive photos documenting the progress from day one through day nineteen and will be uploading them so others can judge the workmanship for themselves. I cannot recommend this company.

Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. We hadn't even thought of that. Would have been very confident in moving forward with ATX Remodeling. Especially as Koren had so many examples of the type of elaborate communication and oversight we would have at every stage of the process.

Michelle came out and gave a very thorough quote. She was fantastic. Answered all my questions, left me feeling confident that they knew what they were doing and could not only fix all the problems the previous contractor had caused but also go above and beyond to do all the things we had hoped we'd get originally. She worked with me on every little detail and gave great advice throughout. Michelle knows what she is doing and got me a quote that was crystal clear and very reasonable. Daniel ran the job and was fantastic as well. He had great insights, let me nag him about every possible question I could come up with, was flexible if I had any changes of heart about this or that, extremely easy to work with. All of his subs were top notch, which I can say as a business owner in the construction field myself is extremely rare. Plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tile work, all were fantastic. He's surrounded himself with great people that get the job done right the first time. They didn't bat an eyelash at the art deco tile or the smart valves or any other unusual items I sent their way, they knocked it out with ease. And lastly Koren worked with me on any project details/paperwork that I needed. Was very responsive to everything I brought to him as I looked for assurances that I wouldn't have the same experience I had with the last folks. A very easy to work with company all around. I will be using these guys for future projects because the price is right, the quality is fantastic, and most importantly were willing to entertain any weird ideas I had. Your home is one of those things that has to be just right for you, and they made sure the bathroom remodel turned out just right for me. Would recommend them to anybody, and I'm a picky OCD guy, so that's saying something. Thanks again, ATX Remodeling!
