And worked hard the entire time. 100% I recommend Jerry from JB Yard Maintenance! I was super thrilled with the job. I had a ton of weeds in my desert landscape yard left over from all the rain. He came in he had a plan and he crushed it! I'm going to have them back. Get them to do my backyard and then try to maybe see if I can set up a monthly maintenance plan. Initially my contact with Jerry was pleasant. We communicated through text and scheduled a Friday morning appointment for him to come do my yard work. I told him that I wanted my front and back yard maintained every 2 weeks and told him what I wanted to pay. He asked me to send pictures of the front and back yard, so I did and he replied that he'd be happy to accommodate my request for the desired price. Friday morning, he showed up with what seemed like, no equipment (had a minivan, so couldn't see inside to be sure). We walked the yards, he said it looked pretty straight forward and that he needed to run to Lowe's a mile and a half up the road. I said okay and I also got out an 8 foot A-Frame ladder for him, so he could trim the 2 larger trees, since he didn't have a ladder with him. He left for Lowe's and texted me that today would be extra because of the 2 large trees, but that going forward he'd be happy to honor the price per 2 weeks that we agreed to. I replied and said okay, would an extra $50 work? No reply after 20 minutes, so I texted again and said, "will that work"? 2 1/2 hours later, still nothing so I reached out again, "hey man, you coming back"? No reply at all and after 5 hours of waiting, I put my ladder back in the garage. I'm not one who rates companies often, but I am BIG on reliability and communication. I do not mess around with people ghosting for no reason, especially in business. If you're the same way, avoid this company! read more

I would have written this review last week, but I was too busy enjoying the view from the fresh yard! I called Jerry in the morning, he came by for a quote in the early afternoon, and the job was done by that evening. He made everything easy from start to finish, he was transparent in pricing and the final product came out looking perfect. He knocked out a very overgrown front and backyard, cleaned up our bougainvillea bushes, and sprayed a weed treatment in a couple hours. Started with the excuses and then a complete no show. After all that reaches out to offer my money back and apologize, just to again no contact and still no money back. My initial encounter with Jerry was excellent. He was prompt and courteous and reasonable. I actually chose him because of his BBB rating. The monthly service became the issue. He wasn't thorough in his service. He would just mow the lawn and not much else. I had to ask him to pick up tiles that came off the roof, instead of mowing over them. Then he started not showing up when he was supposed to. One time not at all with no explanation. The last time (one month ago) He broke off sprinkler heads, only did a partial job in removing grass and leaves in the front yard. I also paid him to remove debris in the backyard. He said he would come back the next day to take care of it. He never showed up. A week later he said he would be by - never showed up. The last time he said his truck was in for repair. He really did not seem interested in my business. So I hired someone else and am very happy with the service I now receive. read more
