We had a great experience with Mr. Benninger and his team in the past, so when we needed another tree removed, we reached out expecting the same level of service. Unfortunately, our experience with B&C was very different. Rachelle quoted us $3,000 to remove a single tree. When we explained that Green Earth had previously removed two significantly larger trees for us at a much lower cost, she responded by saying Green Earth had only been a two-man operation. That simply wasn't true--we personally had more than three crew members at our home during prior jobs. Thankfully, we decided to get additional estimates before moving forward. Every other company we contacted quoted between $1,200 and $1,500 for the same work. We ultimately hired Murphy's Trees, LLC, whose six-person crew arrived on time, completed the job professionally, and, unlike B&C, didn't dismiss our prior experience or imply we were being untruthful. Based on our experience, we could not justify paying nearly double the going market rate for the same service. B&C's pricing appears exorbitant and excessive compared to the local market. Coupled with what we believe were inaccurate statements about the prior company, the interaction did not leave us with the impression of fair or straightforward business dealings. We would encourage anyone considering their services to obtain multiple quotes before making a decision.
