I reached out through Facebook and immediately got a response, quote, and an appointment set up all in one conversation. Location was easy to find and I was immediately greeted with a warm hello and what the plan was for my vehicle. I decided to drop my vehicle off to pick up the next day which worked out perfectly for the shop and myself. Been multiple times to get stuff done from JC, to when my paint was randomly chipping off my brakes a couple months after the job, the vinyl was laid on correctly so I had to go back for that as well, but one thing is that JC is a very talented man but the communication could be better. The store hours on the website say they open at 9AM but on the phone he says 10AM, then it says appointments only. But very time I call, no one can answer the phone! SUNTEK PPF PEELING DUE TO BAD INSTALL. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. NO WARRANTY. I hired Jake to wrap my entire truck in Suntek PPF in February of 2018. My 2015 GMC Sierra is featured on his business website and his Facebook page. Not only is the film peeling and bubbling up EVERYWHERE, but he damaged my truck. His careless use of razor blades caused gouges and scratches on the paint, weather stripping, tailgate handle, XM antenna, and my headlight. He completely cut out the weather stripping that is between the windshield and roof of the car. Dog hair and debris can be seen under the film throughout the entire truck. The film is also overlapped in several spots and looks horrible. I paid him to wrap the whole truck, but he failed to install film behind my door handles and he didn't install film on the gas lid. Parts of the tailgate were left uncovered because he "ran out of film". I have given him more than enough time and every opportunity to make this right. If you have an issue, he will make false promises and excuses then he'll ignore you. He claims I haven't been calling him, but my phone records say otherwise. I even messaged him my number so he could give me a call. It is now May of 2018 and I have been unable to get him on the phone to discuss this issue. He advertises 10-year warranty with this film, but it means nothing without the proper paperwork that he FAILED to provide. Save your time and money!! **Upon posting photos and this review to Facebook, he deleted it and blocked me. He knows he damaged my truck, but claims it's "not that bad." My truck never should've been damaged to begin with. The warranty paperwork has been "in the mail" for at least three weeks now. read more

Do not do business with this liar. He was supposed to provide 2 services: tint and ceramic protective coating. I paid him $950 for a brand new 2017 Audi Q7 that cost over $65k. I have 2 huge bubbles in the rear window (each the size of a quarter).He sliced the tint in my panoramic sunroof in 2 places (the largest is 2 inches (23cm) with sunlight pouring in). When I attempted to get the larger slice replaced, he disappeared for 2 weeks and never returned my texts, even though I called him the very next morning when I saw the defects in daylight. He said he was out of town. I texted and called to no avail. When I finally tracked him down and dropped off my vehicle to get the section replaced. He called and told me it was ready for pickup, but he had to leave the key because he had to go to the vet. When I picked up the vehicle, the slice was still there after keeping my vehicle all day and claiming it was ready! I called to ask what the heck and got no response. My husband texted and he responded because he didn't recognize the phone number. This lying weasel told us we weren't a priority because it was just tint. We got the run around for weeks. I attempted to go through my credit card company and he lied to them and said he did the job. Now I notice the ceramic coating is not holding up to its claim. It doesn't repel water, dirt, etc and it's not shiny in any manner. It's supposed to last 2 years. He now claims there is no warranty. I basically threw away a good portion of $950! Other more reputable companies have lifetime warranty for ceramic protection. Do your homework and not do business with Jake (JC). He does not stand behind his work. He is not responsive. He does not stand behind his work. Don't walk, but run from this shop. He refused to fix or refund. I received $400 via credit card dispute. They gave it back to him because he lied. Now, I must take time and energy to get quotes from a reputable business (Tint Avenue via Audi) to re-open the dispute. Just save yourself a migraine and see Christian at Tint Avenue, who is removing and replacing tint after this mess is finally over and using laser cutting machine with a warranty for less money. Jake did this work on June 30th. It is now October and I'm still fighting to get it right or get money back. Did I mention the dirt smudges in my brand new cream color upholstery in the sunroof area where he didn't wash his hands???!!! Spare yourself! read more

Don't waste your money or time! Crap wrap job. Empty promises and never at work.

I am writing today to complain of the poor service and workmanship my wife received from your shop. My wife took her brand new vehicle to this shop to have the windows tented and have a ceramic coating applied to the vehicles finish. After a number of times my wife tried to contact JC and after JC lied about replacing the tent on the sunroof I had to get involved. I am most annoyed that I wasted a morning (and a day's vacation) waiting for JC to show up. JC was a No Show for our appointment and offered nothing by way of apology when I finial made contact with him. The only response I received was that my wife's vehicle wasn't a priority. To date my wife's vehicle tent issues haven't been repaired and I can't 100% say he applied the ceramic coating because there isn't a slickness of the coated surface so it allow water stains, dirt, break dust, bugs and tar to stick to your car's paint, wheels or glass. This makes washing our vehicle more not less labor intensive and more frequent. Waxing supposed to be obsolete I can't agree with that with the product he applied to the vehicle. Bottom line, if you want the run around go to JC. I have texts message to support the sunroof issues. read more

"On December 16, 2016 I had my 2015 Dodge Challenger serviced for a clear bra and mirror covers by JC's Auto Salon for a total price of $450.00. After three days I went on a road trip and noticed that the clear bra JC's Auto Salon installed developed bubbles underneath and the poor quality materials used were very noticeable. I called JC's Auto Salon immediately and was instructed to bring back my vehicle for them to take care of the issue. I was given an appointment and no one was available, since then I've gone to the shop over 15 times to rectify the problem. Today is Wednesday January 18th 2017, more than 30 days have passed and countless trips made to the shop. JC has not answered my many calls or texts. I've read many GOOD reviews prior to personally doing business with JC's Auto Salon, however after this experience and revisiting the review site; however I must agree with some of the NEGATIVE reviews. Based on the services I've encountered I would have to say that my experience was very unprofessional. This is a warning to anyone that attempts to do business with this vendor. JC's Auto Salon will gladly take your money but will ignore your calls and texts when services that have been rendered are bad and show no respect to you as a consumer."
