Forgot about this asshole until Timehop just reminded me. Looks like he hasn't changed at all and this behavior is what should be expected. This was his reply after telling me to lock up my dogs all day so he could mow the yard. He bailed halfway through, left both gates wide open, and never even said anything. So I contacted this guy JC ( Joe Carlo) from an ad on craigslist. He told me that he would show up that next morning. I spent the whole day and didn't hear from him until late in the afternoon. When he told me he was coming and I told him it was too late. He then proceeded to reschedule me for next Friday, his energy was extremely rude and disrespectful and very pushy. He tried to get me to reschedule, initially I said yes but after thinking about it, I said no. I was going to get someone else to do it. OMG!!!! What a A..Hole. This man and business needs to be shut down ASAP I was between a rock and a hard place. I hired Joe to mow my lawn and after he was done I went out to look and my yard looked terrible. He had left already. He didn't cut the side grass around mail box looked like it never was cut. He was supposed to edge and did not. He wanted payment up front. First mistake I made. I didn't know what to do and it was coming up with him coming back for a second visit. I contacted him by text to delay for one week to give me a chance to look for a replacement. When I asked for delay of 1 week He became verbally abusive, telling my that is why my previous yard guys left. I fired back by saying that I had only 2 previous landscapers in 30+years of me owning my home. His comment was"the truth hurts doesn't it" I am 72yrs old and I have never been treated this way. I checked reviews of course after the fact. He was pushy. If you don't text him back immediately he will keep texting you. Called me 3 times in a row. All because he needs to know if I want to use him because he books up quick....lol. I had no choice because I needed someone next day and he was the only one to respond. He charged me for mowing and edging. Worst landscaper ever, I could have done a better job in complete darkness, with blinders on, in the rain. I will post pics of his "edging." As for the mowing, he used a stand up mower that ripped the crap out of my lawn and it spit clippings in chunks all over the mulched areas. He didn't even bother to use a blower. I called this guy to ask for a estimate. He ask me where I live and I told him. He said I don't come to XXXX County. Sir, you had the county WRONG. I must laugh because he said "Lady you need to read the ad" "And hung up on me." I really dodged a bullet. Thank you for hanging up on me.
