Jay Murray with JCM building services is a master at what he does. He conducted himself in a thoroughly professional matter, something we don't see enough of these days. I arrived on time for the inspection and Jay was already there and working. He surprised me with the depth of his knowledge about the various aspects of my house's design and construction. For example, he located a very dangerous electrical wiring problem on the outside of the house and in the attic. He knew of the history of the materials used in the neighborhood and was able to logically interpret how the house came to be in its current condition. He provided far more detail about each issue than I ever expected, including his assessment of the severity and cost of correcting each problem. Following the inspection, Jay then provided a comprehensive report of his inspection the next day before 11AM. This summarized the entire house inspection and all areas needing either attention or repair were identified and illustrated through the use of photographs. In short, he left me feeling very confident about purchasing my home.
