But Dr Zatorsky got me on the right track! I left feeling confident and comfortable with his opinions and the new prescription of glasses. I was also told information on my eye from a Dr in Pittsburgh and then he retired leaving me questioning everything about a possible condition. Dr Zatorsky checked my eyes thoroughly and said it looks good and I even had the scan of my eyes to make sure there were no issues. He literally went above and beyond! I HIGHLY recommend Mountain View Eye. Also let me add that while picking my frames out (I am so picky) I had amazing help and I took forever picking like 20 pairs at least she helped me weed them out one by one, she was amazing and so patient! I wish I could remember her name because she deserves so much credit! 20/20 service!

I told them when I went in that I was not buying glasses there and they still put a hold on my Ins. for glasses. The next day, I went to Sam's club to get my prescription filled for new glasses and they couldn't process my Ins. They called the doctors office and they said it would be 5-7 minutes. I waited more than 15 minutes and the hold was not released. So, pissed off, I called and within 1 minute they released the Ins. so Sams Club could process. I am considering changing eye doctors because of this. If you don't want to spend over $500 after ins. for glasses and go elsewhere this is how they treat you in that office. I spend $104 for new glasses and most of that was for the extras like anti glare and lighter weight lenses.

But my anxiety was soothed by these on-ongoing profession staff persons. I am the first person to admit that I am a tough cookie or a hard nut to crack. Anyone that can provide such precise and efficient care to their patients, as they do this, they were still absolutely on the mark once again. They were professional, caring, and knowledgeable . Two years prior to this appointment, I was prescribed a progressive bifocal at another vision center and had an awful experience. I could never see out of the glasses, everything was blurry, and wearing them made me physically sick. I expressed my concerns with the staff at Visionworks and they actually listened to me and explained why I had so much trouble before. The woman that did my exam was knowledgeable, patient, and took time to answer my questions. Then I worked with another woman to pick a frame, and go over my concerns about my previous experience with a progressive bifocal. She was extremely knowledgeable, explained the difference between my previous lens, and the one I would be getting, and assured me if there were any problems, they would correct it. I picked up my new glasses on Saturday , January 4th, and the same remarkable woman that helped me pick my glasses. Was there when I picked them up and again, customer service was absolutely the best! I've now had my glasses for five days and I love them! I cannot remember the last time I could see this clearly and I want to thank those amazing ladies at Visionworks!! I will never go anywhere else for glasses and you may see me sooner than later for contacts. I wish I knew their names to give them credit but I hope they see this and no that you both made a difference in my world!

The only good thing I can say about this practice are the doctors: Dr. Centar, who has since retired, and her current doctor, Dr. Corle. That is the only positive thing I will say about this practice. Everything from the billing, which seems to get screwed up every other time we come here, and the "attitudes" of at least one of the front desk clerks/staff. I personally do not know what their problems are, but good lord. They always seem to be rude, unfriendly and dismissive towards my mother-in-law. I noticed they are the same way with other customers that are checking in or just asking basic questions. This is the sole reason why I don't even bother going to this practice and if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't even step foot in this building. (Amber Miller).

I got the Custom PRK procedure - and it was painless and very fast. Currently right now (3 weeks post-op) I am experiencing no pain, slight dry eye (totally and completely normal for this procedure). My starting prescription was 20/400 - now I am very excited to say I have 20/15 (better than normal vision (20/20)). Seriously, if you're thinking of it, do it. Do it. Do it. The process runs seamlessly and was super easy - just a couple of appointments and everything was set. The actual procedure (very trippy!) lasted less than ten minutes and they talked me through every step. I wasn't sure if I could ever handle any sort of eye surgery (one of those thoughts that makes me cringe!) but they made the whole process painless in every way. One eye still has a bit of an astigmatism and will probably need tweaked, but nothing that I have needed glasses for and I have no doubt that the process will be as easy as the first time around!
