Steven Bliss was named as one of the top attorneys for this service in his field and our initial contact was professional and positive. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and clearly explained the fee structure and how the process works. Three meetings, first two on the phone, third in person to sign the docs. First consult is free, half the fee expected at the second consultation and final payment at the third and final meeting/signing. We set the date for our first consultation and we were instructed to watch a video that answered a lot of our questions before that first meeting. It was Steven giving a seminar, explaining the nuts and bolts of what it is, what is needed, why it's needed, etc. Long, but fast paced and very informative. Mr. Bliss is very perfunctory and doesn't waste time. He's a no-nonsense professional, who explains the process well and helped guide us in the decisions we needed to make in order to make the process of distributing our assets to our heirs as easily and pain free as possible, structured in such a way that even if we add property in the future, it will be covered by our revocable living trust and won't require further legal expenses. We also appreciated that we are invited to call his office at any time with questions should we have any in the future, without worrying about being billed for it. Our service included: Home title changes, revocable living trust, powers of attorney, medical final directives, and last will and testaments for both of us. While the pricing for Steven F. Bliss was not the least expensive we found, the thorough service he provided was well worth the cost, which we still found a very reasonable value for the services provided. There were no surprises, no hidden costs, just professional, thorough, friendly service. I hasten to add that we did in fact, consult with another attorney early in the processes, who is also highly rated and cost less, but for reasons I decline to elaborate on, my wife and I received major red flags resulting from our discussions with the other attorney which cemented our decision of having Steven F. Bliss handle this important paperwork for us. Sometimes, you really DO get what you pay for. After our final consultation yesterday, Steven e-mailed us further instructions today, explaining what additional steps we need to take in order to maximize the protections of our trust. We are very satisfied and highly recommend Steven F. Bliss and his friendly, highly competent office staff.

Tovar Law - Father Daughter Attorney Duo

5-Star Review: Miss Tovar at Tovar Law - A True Beacon of Integrity in Family Law…read more I'm no expert in family law far from it. In fact, I had never needed an attorney before in my life. But when an unpleasant chapter unfolded in my marriage, it became painfully clear there was no path back to reconciliation. Divorce was the only remaining option, and it felt like stepping into an unfamiliar, overwhelming world. My case should have been straightforward: a legal separation had already been agreed upon back in 2015. Unfortunately, things grew complicated when false accusations of domestic violence were leveled against me, allowing my ex to remain in the home while I was forced out. Like most people, I turned to friends and online research for guidance. A recommendation from a trusted friend at church led me to a previous law firm (which I won't name here), and what followed was a frustrating ordeal. Over nearly three years, that firm managed only a basic status change, yet the bills mounted to an astonishing $75,000. I was shocked to see charges for seemingly minor tasks, filing simple documents, brief calls to a secretary, dropping off paperwork, or even casual email greetings. It felt exploitative, especially knowing many clients aren't familiar with court procedures or billing norms. My finances and emotional reserves were drained, and I reached a breaking point. In desperation, I prayed for guidance, asking God to lead me to an honest attorney who would truly understand my situation, respect my limited resources, and handle my case with integrity. I did my due diligence once more, and that's how I found Miss Tovar at Tovar Law . From our very first conversation, the difference was night and day. Miss Tovar greeted me with genuine empathy, a calm and reassuring demeanor, and razor-sharp attention to every detail of my case. She listened without judgment, explained the process clearly, and never once made me feel pressured or uncertain. Her honesty was refreshing , she set realistic expectations, outlined a fair retainer, and stuck to it without surprise monthly bills or hidden fees. Unlike my prior experience, there were no endless invoices for trivial tasks. Miss Tovar worked efficiently and transparently, keeping me updated every step of the way. She calmed my nerves, assured me of a positive outcome, and delivered results without ever breaking the bank. Even now, months later, her approach remains consistent: professional, compassionate, and impeccably ethical. I took my time writing this review because I wanted to ensure my words stood the test of time. Miss Tovar didn't just handle my case, she restored my faith in the legal system and showed me what true advocacy looks like. If you're navigating the tricky, emotional waters of family law and searching for an attorney who combines skill, heart, and unwavering honesty, I can't recommend Miss Tovar highly enough. Thank you, Miss Tovar, you changed my life for the better during one of its most difficult seasons. This review is my small way of paying it forward and helping others find their way to the right representation.

Mark Perryman Attorney - Perryman Law Firm

Mark Perryman Attorney - Perryman Law Firm

    (7 reviews)

ATTORNEY MARK PERRYMAN IS UNPROFESSIONAL, UNPREPARED & UNFIT FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:…read more 1. Mr. Perryman is exceedingly difficult to work with. Most often, does not acknowledge or respond to emails and documents. Then, intentionally misleads client by stating he reads emails. However, when asked for feedback, is often in the dark. Overall communications, writing skills & professional courtesies leave much to be desired. Amplified by excuses & misdirection, Mr. Perryman simply lacks the discipline & integrity to perform the services he is so well paid to do. 2. Mr. Perryman is belligerent & obstinate. Reminiscent of the schoolyard bully, he has a volatile personality, coupled with a glass chin and short fuse. Mr. Perryman is dismissive and condescending, both verbally and in body language. During consultations, he is highly resistant to accepting inputs, while not allowing client to offer suggestions until he is finished pontificating, then responds disdainfully. Mostly, he does not listen or read, thus ignoring critical information. Has tendency to veer off course, belaboring, extraneous information regarding other cases, that you, the client, are obliged to listen to at the rate of $450 /hr. 3. Mr. Perryman's bellicose, derogatory nature extends beyond consultations. During my deposition, he was extremely disrespectful to the opposing counsel. His childlike, audacious behavior was appalling. & embarrassing. 4. Unprepared throughout this case, Mr. Perryman clearly projected the appearance of "winging it. " For example, I hand-delivered 6 custom-made charts & graphs, backed up with bank statements, IRS returns, etc., to be used during trial as primary exhibits summarizing a 31 year period. I explained the simplicity, but significance of these documents, reviewing each graph individually. Mr. Perryman stated, these were " GOLDEN. " However, during trial & armed with such compelling documentation, Mr. Perryman was unbelievably disorganized, unprepared & unfamiliar with these simple but critical exhibits, as he fumbled his way through, with missing charts, then showing the wrong chart. Sadly, Mr. Perryman could not get out of his own way, and as in previous encounters, shamelessly demonstrated his carelessness and lack of preparation. Instead of fortifying this case with potent, irrefutable, exhibits, Mr. Perryman focused the court's attention on his ineptitude, negligence & blundering. Another striking example was the exhibit book he placed on the witness stand. It was very thick, consisting of powerful exhibits throughout the years which I had provided. However, once again, Mr. Perryman dropped the ball, this time by not attaching tabs to the book, making it impossible for me to find or respond to exhibits he was referring to. Consequently, for each exhibit, Mr. Perryman had to walk from the back of the courtroom up to the witness stand to show me the exhibit he was referring to, then walk back. This bumbling, time, consuming distraction for all to see, continued, over and over again, further highlighting his pathetic performance while diluting the forceful impact of these exhibits. After observing yet another Perryman fiasco, one can only imagine the impression left in the judge's mind. 5. Due to his obvious lack of preparation, Mr. Perryman's cross examination of the opposing party was weak, shallow & ineffective, with no follow up despite numerous documented statements of perjury. 6. BOTTOM LINE: Mr. Perryman's disgraceful performance throughout this case gutted approx 41% of trust assets, due to his "legal fees. " This attorney's belligerence, obstinance & dismissiveness are only eclipsed by his incompetence. With no guard rails or accountability, lacking in professional pride & Integrity, Mr. Perryman will continue to grossly underperform, as long as he thinks he can. His actions and omissions clearly demonstrate his disrespect for the legal profession, disrespect for his clients, & most revealing, MR. PERRYMAN'S DISRESPECT FOR HIMSELF.

Still no refund! It's amazing how some of these attorneys can skirt around law and ethics and yet…read morethey are supposed to be the ones who...We go to when we need help.. Especially the elderly how they get taken advantage of and ripped off.
