I got in my wreck at an extremely stressful time in my life so it was a huge relief to me to know that Jed was handling all the issues connected with insurance, medical bills, etc. He walked me through the process, answered any questions I had, and made me feel like a valued client. I had misgivings hiring Jed after our initial encounter, but I decided to give him a second chance. Which he acknowledged in an early email thanking me for doing so. I sure wish I had not! I paid him for the work he did, but he still kept a significant portion of my retainer when I no longer needed his services. When I asked for that portion back, he said no, he was keeping it. The contract he (a lawyer) drafted, was vague regarding keeping my retainer but I had no recourse. He kept nearly $1000 of my money. Again, I paid him over 2 1/2 times that amount for the very little work he did for me. The contract "he drafted" also indicated he was to provide me with periodic statements. Over the course of seven months I DID NOT receive one statement. I had requested them both verbally in his presence and in writing. When I contacted the senior attorney at his firm, he acknowledged that Jed should've provided me with statements. The senior attorney was the one who sent the one and only statement. He also acknowledged that Jed owed me a phone call. I DO NOT recommend this individual for any legal services. read more

Jed is a complete hack as an attorney. he was assigned to me as my attorney by the public defenders office. I simply asked him to file a motion to dismiss for prosecutorial misconduct as I had discovered exculpatory evidence hidden by the Roane County prosecutors office. I even had irrefutable evidence that the prosecutor lied to the judge but Jed refused to file the motion. he did hire a private investigator but I discovered that investigator had been close personal friends with the same prosecutor I was accusing misconduct for 30 years....not likely to help me prove the AG's office was concealing evidence. I even agreed to argue the motion myself but Jed as to be replace because he's a chicken $hit who is more concerned with preserving his relationship with prosecutors than representing clients. he was my 4th public defender. anyway I finally argued the motion myself with "arm chair" counsel and although the judge did not dismiss the indictment, the motion forced the prosecutors to finally turn over all the evidence and when they did the alleged victim was exposed to have doctored evidence and committed perjury when questioned at the motion hearing. Jed is a loser who recently went out on his own because I suspect the firm he worked for was forced to fire him when I confronted them with his malpractice. if you do get him assigned to you as an attorney...watch what you say....he may run straight to the prosecutor and tell them everything.....and btw Jed....you know who I am....wonder why you never responded to my emails??? I've seen your youtube videos and you are a complete hack. perhaps you should grow some balls and represent your clients vigorously. read more
