I made a mistake in failing to recognize a police officer's command to stop and ended up being handcuffed and thrown to the ground in my driveway. I was cited for 2 offenses and later increased to four (one of these counts would have cost me a lot of additional auto insurance) when the DA reviewed my case. I retained Jeff and he started immediately having discussions with the assistant DA assigned to the case. He was able to talk her into reducing the case to one count that didn't touch my DMV record. I pled guilty. During the hearing of the case Jeff asked if the judge could reduce the fine due to my age and having a fixed income. The judge asked the DA and she agreed.
