I had serious concerns about their sense of urgency and they proved my concerns were correct…read more My 85 year old mother was referred to this firm by her family law practice in Lafayette, IN specifically for elder law. The appointment was made 2-1/2 months prior and I asked to be put on the wait list. If anyone cancelled we could be in the office in 4 hours, driving down from Chicago, then picking up my mother in Lafayette and arriving in Carmel. For 2 months I occasionally called, to no avail. In that time frame not on single call came from this office with a cancellation opening. Not one cancellation in 2 months? In the mean time I had secured a sooner appointment with an equally affluent, but far more caring law firm specializing in elder law. I called to cancel the appointment and was asked to hold while they transferred me, yet again to the person who handles cancellations. Please explain this to me. You have a person who handles cancelations yet no availability for my Mother in 2 months? For the welfare of your family, please seek legal elsewhere, with someone who can give you timely assistance.

Do NOT use Rebecca Geyer. She did NOT do her job as an appointed Executor on my Father's estate…read more First off their was NO Motion filed for me to OBJECT to an appointed one and I was NAMED Executor in my Father's Will. This County is corrupt and they all cheat to make attys $ when there was NO need. My Father's Estate had been stolen from by a family member and an ATTY that hid info from the court and it needed a Legal Malpractice Atty and she as EXECUTOR was responsible for finding this Atty or working it herself and she FAILED miserably at making the Estate whole and for a Disabled Beneficiary. May she rot in HELL FOR HER PART IN THE CORRUPTION AROUND THIS TOWN. She also was made very aware of the abuse my Father endured by a relative and did NOTHING to file charges against that individual. It's all about the might $ with her..RUN AWAY!!

Navigating a parent's estate is never easy or fun. When my dad (a professional artist) passed away…read moreand our attorney suggested an appraisal (of hundreds of pieces), we had a million questions. Brady was amazing and helped tremendously, even suggesting that perhaps we didn't actually need the appraisals. In the end, we didn't, but even so, he was more than willing to talk through it, take a look, share his expertise, and help me figure out the best approach. His willingness to help even though we ultimately didn't need his services showed he's not just in this to make money. He had our best interests in mind, and we're grateful. When we DO need anything like this in the future, we will be more than confident going to him for help.

We made a family decision to call some appraisers to provide clarity on the property. Mr. Dreasher was the only appraiser who answered the phone and was ready to talk about our situation. Upon arrival he greeted and introduced himself with business cards and addressed how we should go about making the process fast and efficient for everyone, knowing that we were still in grieving mode. He identified items we had questions about and then more noteworthy artworks and antiques for which he was able to provide restoration concerns and an estimates of value. In the end we only needed a few items formally appraised with a report, but having a knowledgeable person who gave us confidence in the appraisal process was just what our family needed at the time. Big Thanks!
