The Zoom meeting with the attorney was informative and she answered all my questions. She explained things very simply but in detail. I am relieved that I've taken the right step to plan for my future and ensure things are handled easier for my child should something happen. About a week or two after I called, the assistant called me to arrange a time to review with Ms Lacy and sign the papers with a notary. The whole process was great and stress-free. The office staff is super friendly and family oriented. Any court proceedings or dealings with the judicial system are emotional and confusing for someone like me, and she made the process something I could deal with. We were able to get thru the event without going to court, which saved me money and a lot of heartache, and for that I'm grateful. Mediation was the route we took, but, Melissa was ready to go to court if necessary. I feel she fought on my behalf and ultimately that was what I needed in my lawyer.
