Extremely disappointing wedding DJ experience…read more The venue, food, and wedding itself were wonderful. Unfortunately, the DJ was the biggest disappointment of the night. The couple considered the DJ extremely important and actually booked the DJ service before booking their venue. They initially met the company through a wedding expo and were very impressed by the DJ/salesperson they met there. Unfortunately, the DJ who ultimately worked their wedding was someone completely different. The experience honestly felt like a bait-and-switch. The ceremony music was barely audible, including the bride's entrance. At the reception, the DJ made virtually no effort to create energy, interact with guests, or get people onto the dance floor. The dance floor remained almost completely empty. The moment that says it all: I asked the DJ to play "Never Been to Spain" by Three Dog Night because my husband and I had practiced a special dance to it. She told me it wasn't on her list and declined the request. I became emotional because this was something special we had planned for the wedding. Eventually, after someone else intervened, she played the song--and the dance floor immediately filled. I had five different guests come up to me afterward and tell me how much they loved the song. It was obvious people wanted to dance; the DJ simply wasn't reading the room. Requests from other guests, including the kids, were also delayed or denied. The groom reportedly had a request denied as well. The DJ's scheduled end time was 10:00 p.m. The bride and groom had fully intended to pay for additional hours, but after the experience that night, they decided it simply wasn't worth it. Instead, they left their own reception and went elsewhere. Within minutes, the reception essentially emptied out. I understand the couple didn't complete the company's formal online song list, although they did communicate their preferences by email. But a wedding DJ's job is much more than pressing play. It's reading the room, creating energy, handling requests, making announcements, and helping make the night memorable. Unfortunately, this DJ failed to do those things, and there was no follow-up afterward from either the DJ or company. For a couple who cared deeply about their music and were prepared to pay for additional DJ time, this was an incredibly disappointing experience.

The idea of this post is to inform people of the great experience we had and that people should definitely consider using her for all sorts of photos. She has been in business for 10 years and has a wealth of experience. Two days before we arrived she sent us info about everything we would need to know so we would be prepared and ready for a successful photo session. I thought that was a nice touch. It was amazing to watch her work and we had no issues allowing her to handle Our newborn so she could get the best images possible. She made sure she told us everything she was doing, washed her hands more than necessary and, also asked us if we were ok with her doing whatever we she was going to do before she did it. At times our baby was rather uncooperative in that he didn't want to sleep and not a single time did she lose her patience. She really wanted him to go to sleep but he put up a heck of a fight. She hung in there for as long as necessary comforting him to get him to fall asleep. She knew the right times for diaper changes, feedings and could read him so she could work on appropriate photos/poses when the time was right for him. Her meticulous attention to detail and lighting was quite impressive. Listen, I went to college for art and she was showing me what a great photo was and what didn't work. Honestly, I didn't really see a difference. She paid attention to the position of his little fingers and so many other aspects I never would have considered in order to get the best photo for each "pose". My wife and I could not have been happier with the experience and we highly recommend people consider her. I personally think she gives far more than should be expected for the price when compared to other photographers. We will be going back to her for 6 month and 1 year photos as well. My wife and I got married in the Florida Keys and they traveled down to shoot our wedding for us. They are an absolute killer duo. To start, they were both amazing to work with, super easy to contact, so dang friendly and welcoming. I couldn't think of two better people to capture our big day. Photo and video were such a big thing for us on our wedding day, and even though we've seen so much of their work and loved it, they legit blew us away with their talent and expertise. They kept the energy so light and fun during our newlywed photos after a high stress few hours prior. They put on some of our favorite music so we could feel ourselves and loosen up during our photos. They are also both super LGBT friendly. My wife and I were super worried about who we were going to book since we are gay and we wanted to be comfortable. They were an instant vibe, sooo friendly, supportive, gay friendly and never made us feel weird for a single second (which is huge when you're being photographed)!!! They were there for us through the whole planning process to look out for us and lead us in the right direction with our timeline, etc. The ALSO partied harddddddd with us on the dance floor and made sure to capture the sickest dance floor shots for us which was so important for us to hold onto so we could look back on. Don't skimp out on cheap photography and videography, you will regret it!!! Spend the money and book these two because they are unreal!!!
