Everything is structured properly, we had a law firm do so and it cost us a few thousand to do so. We came in respectfully and offered them all of the required documents such as the Articles Of Organization, Operating Agreement, EIN, Trust Documentation, our Texas drivers licenses and even brought our passports. They were all too busy warning us about the Patriot Act not to violate it as if we were a pair of criminals about to commit fraud as they might have been suspecting. They were so myopic in understanding Texas residency Laws, how a Trust and how an LLC is structured that the frustrated manager left the office and left us with the flustered but very polite representative. After a nice little chit chat with the representative while we waited and waited for the manager to call whatever she needed to call, we were denied the accounts. They never even put it in writing as to why they were denying us an account. The manager was unprofessional and downright rude! Absolute waste of time and we left insulted only to be further insulted a few minutes later by phone for us to remove our LLC from our Trust and then return to open an account with them? i wouldn't open a bank account for our children's lemon aid stand with them! We are out 3500.00 and the Bank says since we have a business account, they are not liable and can't do anything about it We have been loyal customers of theirs for 11 years!!!! They offered to "investigate" the fraud for 25.00 per incident which will cost 800.00 more, with no guarantee we will recover any of the stolen money. Thanks Preferred Bank. We cold lose our house because of this. Preferred Bank is not a good bank , in my opinion.
