They have award-winning sausages made on site, and also cure their own bacon, and make up their own beef burgers. There's a variety of stuffed or marinated meat, good for the bbq in the summer or for roasting in the winter. They make sausage rolls and pasties, and it's pretty hard to resist when you walk by and smell that baking! They were happy to give me bones for a dog for no charge. Anything you want, they'll get in for you. There's a small selection of produce and chutneys, and some meat bagged up for the freezer. Oh, and there's cheese and ham, too. I may just start sleeping on the floor. And if you go in and say what you're making, they'll give you the right cut of meat and the right size, and then tell you how long to cook it. I think one of these days, they'll just follow me home and cook it up for me. The downside? It's expensive. But you're paying for quality and expertise, which you just don't get at a supermarket. They're open seven days a week, too.

I'm a semi-regular here, although I tend to shop here more in the summer when buying for barbecues etc as they have a good range. Turner's have a full game license and, in season, stock a good range of locally sourced game. Local produce is also stocked from preserves through veg.
