I had some equipment questions which I put into an email to the company, and received a very nice and well-written technical description of the equipment in question. My inquiry was satisfactorily addressed, giving me a number of options that I was looking for. I didn't ask United Nuclear personnel to make the decision for me, but I did ask their recommendations: I'm responsible for the decision I make -- and thanks to their assistance, my decision was an informed one. Radiation is nothing to screw around with, and while they're polite and easy to work with, they don't minimize risks -- and told me what I need to know. I discussed my inquiry on the phone with someone today and was impressed by the depth of their knowledge and the or professionalism. They're the experts, and they freely shared their knowledge with me. I am a risk resource management consultant and believe my clients would benefit in establishing a relationship with United Nuclear. Oh, by the way, they have some great T-shirts. He immediately jumped in to disassembling the car and explained everything I would need with a breakdown of price and a comparison of quality. He spent a very long time assisting me and even opened a fresh motor off the shelf just to test my car. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. In the end I left with a new car after adding everything up and realizing it was a better choice. I only interacted with the hobby side of the store, but the bike desk service seemed great from the probably 30-35 minutes I was in the store. I cannot recommend this place enough!

There are boxes and baskets of hundreds of message pins and buttons. Club and association pins from conventions. Medals. Books. Old beer steins and related things. Vinyl records. But my gal and I had a hard time finding something to buy. The place is jam packed and not organized or displayed well. I imagine boxes of antique vases or glass bottles came into the store, were placed onto a cluttered shelf, and have been there for 20 years. The merchandise doesn't seem to be leaving the store. It's dusty and cluttered and it would be easy to knock over a shelf full of ceramic items.
