When I awoke from anesthesia,, The surgeon asked me "WHY?" He said not only were my teeth healthy but so strong he had trouble extracting them, noting I had the bone density of a 24 yr old man. --- ALERT --- I had…read morea stiff neck for 4 days so I booked an appointment over the phone asking for treatment there, told them it was for a stiff neck and likely needed a massage. I showed up and inquired at the reception how the process worked. The nice girl at the front said I pay; $85 for a one-time assessment and then $60 for the treatment, I asked about what a $60 treatment gets me, in terms of time, and she said once I paid there was no time limit for the treatment, whatever time it takes. So after speaking with her I agreed to proceed and shortly after I started the assessment. After 35 minutes of mostly paperwork and a questionnaire and only seconds after my assessment had completed I was told they had no time to give any treatment and in fact I would have to wait a month for the treatment the assessment result said I needed; which in her words was "all you need is a couple of massages". In shock by what she revealed and in a lot of discomfort; I went back to the reception and explained that I only agreed to proceed with the terms discussed under the condition that I get treatment today. Frustrated I asked her..I didn't need to spend $85 to be offered to book a massage a month later did I? She offered no explanation or recourse and only asked for my money. I believe it's downright medically unethical if not fraudulent to subject someone in pain seeking treatment an option like this only after you have their assessment money. I would have never agreed to have an assessment if they had told me first that they had no time today[or this month] to give me the treatment I needed. I feel I was totally scammed by this business and left in more pain than what i had when I got there. After a follow up call to to the business once back home to further explain how unreasonable it was to take my money and offer no treatment in a reasonable time frame they had no remorse and no intention to try and rectify the incident. I plan to contact The Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and seek guidance for next steps. UPDATE 2/8/2018: After I posted this review I was contacted by management and I am satisfied with their actions. They offered the appropriate response for a failure such as this. I am updating them to a 3/5 star rating because of that.

Providing a standard abdominal exam with every well child exam, he never seemed to pick up a tumor the size of an orange on his adrenal gland on top of the kidney of a very skinny boy. When his mom noted his loss of weight and pallor color and slight limp, she brought him back to the almighty Dr. Healey, pediatrician, psychiatrist, cardiologist, urologist, orthopedist-- you name it, he did it. After a months time he concluded that my grandson had juvenile arthritis because of the limp, after taking a hip x-ray showing an irregularity, no CT scan, no MRI. He then sent him to an orthopedic doctor in Syracuse who diagnosed the huge tumor on his adrenal gland as Neuroblastoma Stage IV high risk with metastasized tumors in his hip, pelvis, and lymph nodes. The metastasized tumor in his hip gsdvtitslly broken his hip! His own patient for six years and he never picked this up??? They said in Syracuse that he'd had this cancer for at least 2 1/2 years! My six year old little grandson died after suffering for 21 months. Thank you Dr. Healey. And he never called to express his sympathy to his patient's family who were all his patient's also, but no more .

Normally I assume when I go to a doctors office I'll get asked the same questions every time I visit, but Dr.Healey remembers important details from previous visits when I go to see him. If you need a doctor and can make an appointment with him, I'd recommend it. He is the best doctor I have seen in the area, and I know for a fact he works hard to make sure health care in general improves in the area.

Come to find out, it was caused by thyriod problems and only made worse by the anxiety produced by an underactive thyroid. The hospital set me up with Alicia Flint's practice in Colton and I was TERRIFIED to go see her. But she was very nice, helpful, understanding, and non-judgemental. She also understood that I had issues with health insurance and was willing to do my follow up visits over the phone while we got my prescription figured out so that I wouldn't have to pay for a proper visit. Overall, the atmosphere was very friendly and she wad very laid back and casual but still professional. I didn't feel as though she was talking down to me as I feared I might. Definitely a good experience, even for someone with sever social anxiety like myself.
